The name’s MisterMC (formally Barbecueflesh), “an tall half-british/half-canadian viking.”
I’m a very beginner of all beginners, it all happened a few years ago… I was searching for any odd game platforms (for example; Game.Com, Quickshot Supervision, Atari Jaguar) to try making rather fun games on them, that’s where I thought of Virtual Boy comes to my mind when beginning making homebrews for… I managed to found then purchased it from CeX with £525.00
I first began to play all three games I have (Virtual Boy Wario Land, Mario’s Tennis, Red Alarm), then I found them quite playable with nice 3D effects (Virtual Boy Wario Land is the very loved known game of this platform. Mario’s Tennis had a neat intro of a tennis ball bumping to a fourth wall. Red Alarm plays well when playing it with a real hardware). So I began to buy a few other Virtual Boy games.
I’ve wished to create an homebrew game for this platform, however I thought making games is quite an complex of understanding due to different coding languages that I may not able to understand perfectly. But eventually I will make one.
As years progressed I’ve began to have a soft spot for this poor console, maybe it’s supposed to be a virtual reality game platform if it was a kid, if it was more advanced it would’ve been called “Virtual Man”.
Also I made drawings, animations, and an Blogspot website if you’re interested.
