How about “It’s not a bad console so stop beating up on it” or “Why do people who have never played it hate it?”
Sorry , just fed up with all the arbitrary VB hate.

The only reason that people think the virtual boy is bad is because it was nintendo’s only failure. If it wasn’t made by nintendo, it would be thought of like the vectrex (a failed game console but a good one).

Did you try any other games? The problem might be the cartridge.

LOL, Pineapple 64 is 32 bit. I like the idea, but it sounds like a n64 game, not a VB game.

Anybody near Vancouver, Washington?

I’m pretty sure its a US unit: VN103874263 (3)

How can he insult the controller? It had batteries on it before it was cool!

Good point, I forgot to mention that whole slew of physical complaints people seem to have with it. It’s like when you tell a doctor that it hurts to do something, and he replies “then don’t do it!”. In this case, it means “don’t put the VB and stand on a low table and bend your spine funny for hours trying to play”. And the whole eye strain rumor, my eyes squint a little bit when I stop playing but the same way they do when leaving a dark movie theater and going into bright sunlight. VB eye strain can’t be any worse than when people play XBOX 360 on a 48″ screen in a dark room for hours on end…

I think it may have come from people not realizing that you have to adjust the 3D. The adjustment screen looks like a startup screen.

Actually, I think it comes from the glitchy display.

Does anyone know what causes the lines?
