For the default label, you should also show the ROM size, and when the cart is programming, you should show the VB logo in the middle running.

The main problem with the VB wasn’t the console itself, but rather the fact that Nintendo discontinued it so soon. The wave 2 games were very promising, and if they were released, I wouldn’t be surprised if the VB’s sales turned around. I wouldn’t expect it to be a smash hit, but definitely not a failure.

This is really cool! Maybe the game could modify what the label looks like when you, say, defeat a boss, or get a record, etc.

My Wario board has a 6 on it, if that helps.

I noticed my non-NFR copy of Wario Land had an NFR board.

I checked the box of my VB, and I can confirm it’s US Retail.

Sorry for the necrobump, but what would happen if you scanned the SN sticker on a US VB with a barcode scanner?

Buy it and figure out what it is. It could be a lost prototype!
EDIT: It’s just a GB emulator with some ROMs. I’m an idiot.

I know, but I feel it would be better, because you won’t have to salvage VB cart connectors.

Here’s the 8×8 font. The native resolution is 100×100. P.S., I forgot to get the native file, oops.

OK, I’ve started work on an 8×8 font.

mellott124, I feel that the best way to pull this off in the foreseeable future is to use the VB itself as a cart port and HID, and a separate box that plugs into the link cable port that does the actual programming.

Very nice! It’s clear that this will also open the floodgates to more custom VB controllers.

I see this is very good, but how does the ribbon cable connect to the VB if it doesn’t have the same number of pins? Sorry if this is a dumb question.

That’s obviously fake.
1. The audio is obviously not played by the PM’s speaker.
2. The resolution looks too high to come from the PM.
3. There is no boot screen when the PM is booted.

PM = Pokemon Mini

It’s not sharp, but it appears that a majority of the frame is intact.

Here’s the native file. Sorry for the weird filetype, blame the pixelart tool, not me.

Sorry, I didn’t notice it.

Yes, true.
