I bought all four for a couple of reasons and one those was like you said, in case the others failed. Also I was trying to get other games and things like that. Wanted extra stands extra parts things of that sort. Other than that plain and simple addiction. I have no want or need to go out and have more than one NES or Sega CD system but the VB is just I don’t know… addictive. Well I had a total of four. My first had started to crap out on me but the oven trick fixed it “Thanks DogP” My second was beyond the oven trick and I ended up ripping the ribbon cable on it. It’s o.k. though I have plans to use it in a music video if I ever get off my butt. Well I’m selling Galactic Pinball, Red Alarm, Mario’s Tennis, Virtual League Baseball… Unless Kr155e wants to buy it for his tower lol 😛 3D Tetris and Mario Clash.

Now I tested the system with Mario’s Tennis had so no video flaws with it. There is however a hairline crack in the stand but everyone that I have bought over E-bay has come that way. : ( Super glue and care takes care of that though. When I get my act together I’ll let everyone know when it goes up for sale on E-bay. Since it’s my first E-bay sale I’m only selling within the U.S. Sorry to everyone else. I have a 100% feedback as a buyer and have bought a little over 50 items. Yeah ummm I think it will start at $175.00 and a buy it now at $200.00 but I’m still thinking.

Just in case you would like to buy a forth VB 😀 I’m getting ready to sell one that works great with 7 games complete in original box for probly $200.00 on E-bay. Thought I would let you know.

Well before everyone attacks me for trying to prove a point that the VB couldn’t stand up to the SNES’s popularity at least for me anyway all I remember was Super Nintendo being drilled into my head. As for not getting on Wikipedia for example and looking up dates to make some sort of a confirmation on what came first I was just typing based off my own memories. When the VB First came out I played it at a SEARS department store. I was totally blown away and thought holy crap this is the future of gaming!!! I begged and pleaded for one but my Dad was like no it’s too expensive you have to much crap as it is. Well then when the Super Nintendo came out I was like… Virtual what? The wha… huh who cares SUPER NINTENDO YAY!!! So besides all the BS rumors about it hurting you and all that junk, it was the poor marketing skills that killed it. I mean think about it. When the SNES came out it shrouded everything else on the market. Nothing and I mean nothing could touch the SNES not even any other Nintendo product. It was poor timing. Damn imagine what we would have today if it would have been a success. Well… I still think it was a success but I mean in the corporate eye. -sigh- 🙁

Don’t the disks look alot like a PSP disk?!

The discs probably would have looked like the ones from the 64DD system that only came out in japan. Then again Sony would not have let Nintendo go back to using a Floppy style.

Use 2 small adjustable wrenches to tighten down the ribbon cable to the board immediately after you get it out of the oven that’s what I’ve always done : )
