Well no matter what I do believe that Nintendo will once again unvail another 3D system of sorts considering the VB is the second attempt at 3D. WHAT?!?! Yes tis true, the Famicom “Japanese NES” had 3D goggles for a small hand full of games. Granted these are a far cry from the Virtual Boy but still I look at them as Nintendo’s first 3D hardware. Check it out I’m gonna get them as soon as I can. http://www.famicomworld.com/Doodads/3D_Goggles.htm
I think that’s pretty cool but why have a separate console? It could connect to an existing system like the Wii and in buying the headset you get two original titles like Mario Clash and Wario land. Included also on that disc is the Super Mario Bros. we all wish we had for the original VB. Oh I hope the VB returns someday in a new Nintendo form… and the 80’s too I miss the 80’s. 🙂
I think Runnerpack is right. Although it’s nice to see new people come up with ideas, the Virtual Boy is not a smut machine and you would have a hard time convincing someone to make a game full of pee pees rather than Zelda, Mario or Kirby. lol pee pees.
Once you open it up and turn the adjustment knob on the VB you’ll see how it makes the lines appear. The ribbon cables just get a little loose and that causes a bas connection. Soldering would be way difficult. I talked to DogP about it once. I hop you get yours working right again. When I did the oven trick on mine I adjusted the knob so that there is no tension on the ribbon cables and that woks out for me but I don’t let anyone else asjust it. Good Luck!
This is someone with absolutely no programing experience speaking i.e. ME but what about some sort of a graphics editor for .nes files? Yeah it would be the same old game but… Zelda, Castlevania, Tetris… Ok not Tetris for obvious reasons. I think it would be cool to play different versions of a 3D Super Mario Bros.
I think he means… That… Well that is to say…. Hmmm Uh… no. Ok I got it he’s saying theres a bug that appears when he pushes the D pad. Now I’m thinking it would have to be an ant. What other kinda of bug could fit it’s way into a VB? Ah a tick could, or an aphid but why only show up when the D pad was pushed? Must be a coincidence. Must be. Now it would make more sense if it were a programming “glitch” rather than an insect crawling around.
Ok enough of this… sorry I had to play around I got that old “Get Smart” tv show in my head couldn’t resist. Happy Holidays everyone!!!
The most anticipated day in video game history will soon be upon us. Please do not be afraid of the red lightning when it strikes. Do not run like a caveman from the virtual power. Just… let it take you to the third dimension for there you will know true reality. Bwa ha ha ha haaa!

That looks totally awesome Chris, Many Thanks to you!!! and to you and Richard for all your efforts!!!!! I think it’s supposed to say “read Instruction booklet before operating” 🙂
Japanese versions like “Jack Bros.” or games that were only released in Japan like “Insmouse No Yakata” in my opinion would be very hard to follow. Jack Bros. though I believe is a puzzle game and after some tinkering should be easy to figure out how to play.
Yeah I always wanted one of those for the GC and never got one. Ya know I think that by the time Wii is seeing it’s end and the next gen system is coming out we’ll see VB games. They’ll just quietly appear on a long, long list but they’ll be there. “Fingers crossed”
