I had a bit of trouble trying to get restrictive BMPs in Photoshop, so for all of mine I started as JPGs, downconverted to restrictive PNG, then to BMP 8 bit, then used the converter. I’m sure there’s a much easier way, but that’s what I did :/
I kinda neglected my VB for a while this year, but then in the Summer I went to Japan. In a Super Potato store in Osaka there was a VB display up (I have a photo):
…with Vertical Force in it, and I had forgotten how much I loved that game.
They had copies of a few somewhat rare games (3D tetris, fishing, and Jack Bros), but I couldn’t bare to spend that much on them. Especially the fishing game which I knew I’d play maybe once or twice.
But… holding the actual sealed boxes in my hands made me really, REALLY want to play them.
hmm… thanks for that bit of info. I never opened one before, but that seller said that the bit would work so I just assumed that he was correct. I guess my 30 piece set will be useless if I ever need to repair my VB.
this is kinda off topic, but what other pinball games do you enjoy playing?
some of my favs:
the pro-pinball series (playstation/PC)
epic pinball (pc)
rollerball (nes)
revenge of the gator (gb)
pinbot (nes)
necronomicon (saturn import)
yeah if you have the piece, use good epoxy (TEST IT FIRST ON SOMETHING ELSE) or Krazy Glue. Don’t buy imitation Krazy Glue, shell out the extra couple bucks for the real stuff. I used the fake stuff for years and just a week ago bought a tube of the real deal and it’s a world of difference when repairing plastics.
