i got my VB last year… it came with a working A/C adapter.. and GOLF. I got it for 85 dollars (not working) but it works fine because I used the oven trick.
get an electronics duster at radioshack.. Its a can that sprays air and comes with a straw so you can direct the air. (I’ve used it on the cartridges with no problem.)

Ya know after I did the oven trick, I used two adjustable wrenches to squeeze the ribbon, glue and circuit board together. I would let it sit that way for an hour that worked pretty damn good but I still had some hit or miss problems. The same as Fwirt. That night I remember screaming to the moon “Why did Nintendo do something so stupid!!! Why Glue!!!” lol It works now but has small glitch. In Red Alarm for example I see the horizontal lines when I get hit.
in red alarm, thats the game, not the vb. Clean the cartridge.
3 minutes is tooooooo long, I suggest about 1 min, (check VERY often) or take it out when its very close to being completely flat. and you know the drill, its on the site.

Sorry, now there are just the lines…
And the rubbers don’t seem separated from the cables…
umm, did you put the whole VB in the oven?!? (J/K)
well, if you have the lines, you can try the oven trick again (follow steps exactly for best results). Or you can pay money for someone to do the oven trick for you. xD
You forgot to put in the key combination to check alignment. It you dont put that in (this happened to me the first time i did it) it will drip and droop and go stupid on you.. it was on the link that was givin earlier. If that doesn’t help then try and find someone to repair it.
also dead means that there is absolutly nothing happeneing when you turn it on.

Let’s see, broken vs. working… which one is more valuable… That’s a tough one! 😛
Also, I don’t agree with edracon; don’t sell the ugly one after the switch. For one thing, who would buy a VB with bad and unfixable displays? (you were going to mention that, right?)
I said “then sell the ugly one, or use it to try and make something.” That can go for anything from repair parts or the sorts. So i did mention it. Also someone looking for part would buy the broken display VBOY, so now you know who would bye a VBOY with bad and unfixable displays.
The reason is it will be VERY VERY hard to make it work correctly with the wii, also the games on the wii do not have the “Second Camera” thing the Virtualboy two would use, as in the VirtualBoy2 games need to be specially programmed to have two cameras working simultaneously for a 3D effect. Also it would be a seperate system because a Wii Update would not add a second camera to games. Also, the console is seperate from the headset so the headset wouldn’t be heavy (You dont want to have a Wii or something like that on your face). I thought everything over before I posted. You can complain about other things though =P
why cant I edit my original post?

The story? its zelda! Zelda gets kidnapped. Rescue ensues. dungeons. bosses. weapons… :p
actually each zelda is different, zelda usually get kidnapped at the end or middle of the games. So what would be the story of this one? (nothing to do with zelda turning into stone, its been done twice already)
Also she didn’t get kidnapped in Twilight Princess, she got locked in her own castle by ganon xD
