Thanks to all of you and for those that sent me a PM. In this case it was total user error on my part (RTFM errr email). Right there in my inbox from Kevin, which I read and promptly forgot. Sorry for that oversight but thanks again for steering me in the right direction. I’ll blame the holidays =)

Got my USB connection issues resolved – thanks! Question though, when I import games, most of the standard and optional labels are identified but some of the games, no labels other than the default HF32 label are available. Am i doing something wrong with it recognizing the file name? Are the mumphy default labels available somewhere that i can manually add them? Appreciate the help!

I’m totally in for this. Email on its way.

I’d be in for one as well depending on price

My main unit that physically is in great condition experiences this every one in awhile and then corrects itself. going to need to have Runnerpak repair it eventually.

neat video, thanks!

Really impressed by the quality of the mods, good luck getting your issues straightened out.

The quality on these is amazing, thanks for the effort.

i’ve seen an uptick in Mario’s Tennis For Display Only boxed versions over the past 3-4 weeks. In fact I jumped on the best looking one I could, and see 1 or 2 more currently.

Not sure how rare they are, but I know I was keeping my eye out for most of the summer and didn’t see any until August.

Going to try this over the weekend for my spare VB unit. Thanks for the info.

for me it was $350 for a very close to mint condition CIB Jack Bros US. I bought and sold a couple manual and game versions of the rarer stuff to get CIB versions, so don’t really want to think about what I spent in all on those, but generally for each didn’t spend more than $100-$150.

Both US Retail as far as I know. Bought a backup for my main unit that has intermittent glitchy display.

This looks like the best custom design yet for a stand. I’ve been contemplating how to fashion one similarly but would need my metalworker brother in law to help me with the tools and getting it done.

First post actually, even though I’ve been meaning to introduce myself. I’ve been assembling my collection since April when I got the nostalgia bug and bought a VB. At this point with getting a Display Only box for Mario’s Tennis last month, I’ve completed (I think) an entire boxed US collection. I may eventually get into Japanese stuff, but for now am working on how to display it in my office.

Added a new photo to add the two Nintendo Powers that seem to be parts of others collections. Both of these are from my personal subscription. Not sure how many times they survived getting tossed when they were in a nondescript box at my parents’ house, but i finally rescued them and realized what I had this summer.
