somebody here needs attention 😀
i like the GB Micro but if you want to play also old GB games you should look for the SP but the latest model with backlit.
If you want to go for real oldshool, take the GB Color or Poket(Light). The Pocket has a real nice monocrome screen, very sharp. it gives you a great feeling while playing.
The Light is the same like the pocket but with light and AA batteries.

awesome guys, that makes me happy 🙂

The Game Ideas you have are nice and very interesting, however we choose already a project. Once its done everybody will be happy 🙂

Germany 🙂

Hi,

who can send me two solderfixed displays for my VB?
I am not patient enough right now to solder that my self.

Thanks

Fire

Awesome Boxart! Do you want to share your Photoshop files or want to keep it for your self?

RunnerPack is right. It is real great but it needs some balancing. difficulty is cool but a smashed keyboard is not fun exspecialy when it is a Notebook Keyboard 😀

@DogP
Vibe is for OSX anyway. I guess most people use a win emu and with Bootcamp or Virtualobox you can play Win emus on OSX so i dont see any problems.

about the hording and so on. Well i am no fan of it and i shared for example the Pinball with everybody.
Of course this does not mean that others need to do it like me but it would be nice to see for example faceball, dragonhopper or zero racers. I am sure this would boost the VB community 🙂
But thats up to the owners of the roms.

Yup, it does have an embedded CRC list. The reason for this is historical; we decided long ago that we did not want people who hoard unreleased prototypes for their own private reasons to be able to use ViBE to emulate them.

As I recall we had one of our beta testers early on claiming to have a copy of Faceball which apparently didn’t work, but he refused to provide us with traces (or indeed a loan of the ROM itself) which might have helped us fix it…

i like that way! 😉

we finished our last game 3 weeks ago. it was Legend of Kay DS.

ah! i didnt know that heheheh thx.

i have trouble to get the emu started on a 64bit win7 machine.
it is not starting at all when i doubleclick the exe.
any suggestions?

@jojobean
do you still try to sell this BH rom?
if yes, thats not okay. i mean in a (hopefully) short time everybody can enjoy the full working game for free. to sell a broken version now makes no sense and i suggest everybody to wait.

about raising money for faceball and dragon hopper.
that is something really good. i would love to see and play both, i also dream about Zero Racer. But there should be another way than selling broken games.
I am sure if you ask for donation and if you can prove you have a trusted lead to the games it should be not too hard to raise the money to buy it. i would donate!

about the broken BH Rom. let us burry that rom and wait for the real deal. soon the last bug will be fixed, iam sure.

Boah…geil! Bekomm ich auch so ne Box? 😀

what is the Problem with the Framebuffer?
Is this hard to emulate?

sexy, want to marry me? 😀 😛

The process is easy as pie… hardest part is getting the tool to open the system in the first place!

Yes she is right, open a Virtual Boy is the hardest Part if you dont have the right tools. The rest is easy.

Your Avatar… is that person on the Picture you?

since the Competition is running now, somebody should take the Wolfenstein oder Doom source and make it for the VB.
This would be a awsome entry

All that sounds absolutely great BUT is there a way for everybody to get such a device in the future?

i did not expect that O_o
