I think the idea of graded protection is awesome.
they are all “Deserving of Preserving.”
That statement is too true.

So if a game originally came in shrink wrap and the shrink wrap is removed, VGA won’t grade it? Is that correct? If so, I am curious to know if VGA will grade the “sealed” Virtual Boy games from Mexico, which had the slit put in the shrink wrap for the insertion of Spanish instructions. If so, does that slit automatically guarantee a lower rating?
I had no idea…..thanks. That makes me feel so much better about my “Sealed” Mario Clash from Mexico.
So after hunting for a few weeks, I finally found some auctions that excite me. Games I didn’t expect to add to my collection:
SD Gundam

Space Invaders

I have finally acquired a spare shell. I will be starting the custom work tonight.
Mawa, I’m in need of the Wario Land, and would love the demo Pinball.
PM or text me prices and shipping to Canada, and I’ll paypal you some money pronto.
I agree with Benjamin about the demo pinball. I am also interested in it.
I also reported it. This truly hurts my soul.
I am amazed that not only does it exist but that you are so “IN” that you can find it and get it all.
1. Virtual Boy
2. SNES
3. NES
4.
5.
I’m not much of a gamer. The VB is the only system I’ve tried collecting anything for, and the SNES has the most memories and the only other system I ever hunted for a game was the NES.
After that, whether I’ve used a system or not, I really don’t have any care for them. I’m a tabletopper, maybe that’s why I like the table top system (VB) so much.
Oh dear,
my eventual plan is to get Bound High, so I may as well get the box and manual as it becomes available.
Also, I noticed that this Topic is getting very cluttered, would it make sense to create an “order” sheet in another, more visible way? Perhaps a poll, or maybe there is another way that I have yet to find on the site…
As sad as it is to see our beloved VB in this video, I do appreciate that they don’t knock on it as we have seen so many people do.
After seeing some of your posts, I no longer feel out of place. I’m on here 2-3 times a day, morning, at work, and night.

Personally I think it is one of the best designed fansites with the most comprehensive content on a single “portable” console. There´s nothing as good on the VB for Lynx or GameGear afaik.
I have to agree, this site has everything a VB fan would ever want and more. In fact, PVB has made me the fan I have become. When I got my VB I was excited about it, but after I found this site I became an instant fan.
PS: what is “afaik”?

I just tried to find it in completed listings, and I can`t find it. :S
Lester – I was looking earlier today…I`m befuddled as to how I missed it.
bigmak – I do have an US mailing address to solve that problem, although a straight shot helps.
I have been bidding on several, but I`m never on to seal the deal.
My first project will be to make a blue VB to add to my custom blue system collection.

The second project will be to reddify one. I have some crazy ideas about making it an even more exciting red.

You are correct… It is missing the little informational sheets that are on either side of the item.
Mine has them, though. hehehe
Do you have a picture of what they look like? I’d be interested in what is missing before bidding…
Oooh….I want that something fierce.
I’ll probably even use it in my store for awesome sharing of the VB experience.
I like them even more when the person gets custom vinyl done to replace the painted over logo.
I don’t get the custom vinyl, I just cover and paint around, a little more work but I prefer to keep the original.
a wide range of opinions on your paint job
I myself have a wide range of opinion on my own paint job. It has been a learning experience. The NES was the first I did, and had to learn how many layers and amount of dry time on the plastic surface, so there is a big run on top I don’t like. The SNES, PS2, and N64 all turned out really well. We even did a custom SNES for a customer, and to make it POP we painted the indented “Super Nintendo” white. (Not on my own though). The wii was a bit of a rush job, I didn’t have any primer for the glossy surface, so it went badly.
Now as per request, I have posted some pics on my website for you to peruse.
Having played and eventually….beat E.T. I have to agree that it is the worst all around game I have ever played (keep in mind my field of play is quite narrow as a gamer)
A close second for my is Advanced Dungeons and Dragons Heroes of the Lance. Generally a game can be figured out without a manual. HotL cannot. You can’t even get by the first screen without a full manual description. You just die. None of the controls work like you’d expect, the graphics were weak for the time, and the title made you expect so much more out of the gameplay.
I’m jealous. I have no compatible skills to aid in development of a VB game. I would love to help had I possessed any necessary skills because I am already dying to play “Lost in Time”
I think that I actually liked it white, it reminded me or R.O.B. Although, as DaytonaUSA said, it was painted badly. I have my own store and I have most of the consoles that I have custom painted (very well) blue to match the decor of the store…will the VB community excommunicate me if I paint my extra VB blue?
