I hope the 3DS won’t be limited to only depth 3D.

So where’s the party?

I’m guessing they’re out of units – how much did it cost?

Yes, I bought one of the last units from that source months ago, and they’ve since sold out of them. The problem is (from what I’ve heard) that these were not stored in ideal conditions in Dubai for the 10+ years that they sat there. So even though they are nice and new and boxed and pretty, they don’t necessarily work well when received. It’s really luck of the draw.

How did you manage to get if from Dubai?

Through a 3rd party

I got mine from Dubai as well. Beautiful brand new system that STILL suffered from display problems. Thankfully, a kind soul has fixed it for me!

Hi, I’ve sent a couple emails to you over the last two weeks but haven’t heard back from you. Are you still doing these repairs? I desperately need someone to fix my vb.

Thanks. I couldn’t find the post about it, but from what you said it sounds fairly common.

Hi. I’m new to this forum, as I just received my first Virtual Boy. This is supposedly new old stock from the Dubai lot found last year.

What I’ve noticed is that prior to pushing my face against the unit, clearly the left eye image is not coming on. Sometimes it’s black, sometimes there are red horizontal lines. What’s strange though, is that when I put my face against the unit, within a second or two, the left eye image comes up and I have no further problems with it while playing. This happens every time that I power on the unit. Does this scenario sound like a sign of a unit that is beginning to have problems?
