Need a verdict on this. Constructive criticism welcome. Ended up free styling the visor considering all I have to go off of are crappy google images.

There have been so many V.R. displays out there. I did a little bit of VR research back in the day and this is nothing special. I wish they would make a display under 500 dollars that didn’t suck. For instance the HMZ-T2 3D frame rate is 24 frames a second and it’s 720 not 1080. It goes for a grand.

NOTHING SPECTACULAR

stand portion is looking much better now that I have a suitable reference. Still a long way to go on this.

Awesome! This helps a lot. It wont look as good in 3ds max considering I am free styling it and not doing exact measurements but this PDF render helps a lot for the stand.

Thanks.

Quick mock up virtual boy model.
Need Pictures of eye shade and stand to complete the model correctly.

Post them here if you can.

Got it working with an extra 9volt DC adapter I found laying around. Will post a video soon.

Honestly I really think they should have made the plastic lenses interchangeable. For example packaging the Golf game with green plastic lenses, Or Water World with blue and Wario with purple.

While playing around with emulators and the original system I find that certain colors help with the submersion of the game and also helps give the game a different overall feel.

Thanks! will let you know how it turns out.
