Well all I know is that I would have paid into this, if I had had the chance! Hopefully one pops up for sale sometime, and I somehow get an opportunity to buy it…
I bought a loose Virtual Bowling – about $300. Actually came in a lot that included a system and some other games that I already had, so sold those off for about $150, making it a pretty good price for that cart I think!
Payment through bank transfer only – does not give you much (if any) protection, and brand new Ebay account. Claims to have another account from 2000, so why not use that one?
Donation sent as well, thanks Eric!
Watch out for that French Canadian guy that was selling Bound High, us Winnipegers are much more trustworthy Canadians, lol!
Thought I would add to this – have all US & JP games except for 3 – 3D Tetris (not sure why!), Gundam and Virtual Lab.
My Virtual Bowling is loose, not boxed.
Of the more interesting items – US Demo system with the white box. Picked up another system the other week, turns out it is a store demo system – came with the warning card that attaches with a chain, an instruction sheet on how to set up that and a bracket to chain it to the counter. The bracket is still on the head unit, but unfortunately no chain or the bracket to secure it to the counter. This was all a bonus as the seller never even mentioned the box, or the boxed AC adaptor / tap set!
Also Mario Tennis BBV box, Galactic Pinball with Property of Nintendo sticker, one of those VB keychains (I think there are only 3 accounted for), new sealed playing cards, VGA graded JP Mario Clash (85+ Gold) that I got basically for the price of the grading, Mario Clash JP Demo, mosaic JP tap, some proto VB advertisement. Counter top display unit as well, courtesy of Ty.
And of course new boxed (20 count) of JP Pinball, Vertical Force, and small boxed new US Mario Tennis.
Not to mention over 5000 other vintage games, systems & accessories! But, since the birth of our second child 6 months ago, no more game room, everything is boxed up in our crawl space!

Interesting article… although I think it might be a little premature to call the Vita a total flop, given that it’s still being sold and actively developed for. It hasn’t exactly set the world on fire, sure, but it’s building a respectable library.
I’d also never heard of the TurboExpress before… interesting stuff. I’m kind of a portable game aficionado… further investigation definitely required. 🙂
The most awesome part of the TG Express (still have mine), is that it used the same card cards as the TG-16 console, so you did not have to buy games twice…
Too much press, I guess. Not sure how this would be any different than selling Bound High carts, in principle…
Probably an idle threat, but I don’t blame you for not taking any chances.
Let’s face it, once Uncle Tusk stops selling BH carts, the value will increase, happens with other homebrews and repos all the time, just supply and demand.
If someone lists it on Ebay with a correct description, as an auction starting at a dollar, and it sells for $200, is there any reason to get offended?
Course lying about what it actually is, is total bs…

Well, we all know and have to expect that stuff like this happens after any limited release of a game. I agree, though, that he is trying to use a lie in addition to the rarity of the game to sell it, which is just wrong. I’m just surprised that it has happened so soon. My guess is that he truly bought a copy of the game and was just too lazy to make his own picture of it, so he just stole the one off of Uncle Tusker’s site for his auction. Hopefully not too many buyers were from Canada. That would make it easier to track down who the guy is.
