That should fit in the prototype window without cutting off any graphics. I would suggest adding 3 more pixels of gray background to the right side, into the black border. Otherwise you might have a small strip of that black border peaking out along the right edge of the screen on the final production units.
When I’ve mentioned/recommended you I have linked to your eBay listing or I’ve just pointed them towards Planet Virtual Boy to look for Nes Freak.
Don’t know if you’ve had any new business thanks to me, but I know I’m not the only one mentioning you on Reddit!
If you are looking for where these guys are, Virtual Boy posts pop up in the r/retrogaming sub and (obviously) the r/VirtualBoy sub. Seems like there’s always a comment or two on posts about Virtual Boys saying that theirs doesn’t work. I make sure to point a big finger at you whenever someone mentions that they need to get theirs fixed.
I’m advertising your services on Reddit whenever it comes up, plenty of collectors out there posting their disappointment that their Virtual Boy units don’t work.
My first choice is to get mine working again. I’m sure there are some back connections in the controller (the components in these are extremely cheap). But If I can’t get it going again – I’ll definitely hit you up!
