This is looking pretty cool now. I thought I was on the mailing list, but haven’t gotten anything in ages so I guess not. I didn’t preorder as the description at the time sounded like the cart had to be plugged into a PC via USB just to load games (aka 1 at a time). Clearly Kevin has progressed beyond that. The other bit of confusion (still is) is whether this will be sold as a completely assembled product, or that we have to provide a shell or something like that?

Fingers crossed!

Well, well… some new parts just came out that would make MultiBoy32 a lot easier to build. Could be an interesting year in 2020. 🙂

Very cool concept!

I am saddened for sure. Yes it was full of elitists, but it was still a great hub for Nintendo-centric homebrew, prototype finds, and other such discussions. Videogamesage is too collecting-focused for me. I’ve yet to find another Nintendo-centric forum of equal merit. GC-Forever is great but it’s Gamecube focused only.

No. Like Flashboy, you’ll remove the cart from the VB, connect a USB cable from your PC, and then select and program the game on your PC. The files reside on the SD card merely to make programming faster. I could have done it on the PC just like flashboy but I wanted to speed up the programming. There will be no on-screen menu for HyperFlash32. That’s one of the things that makes this design easier to get done.

Oh, gotcha. Well, I’ll just stand by and hope you can accomplish the Multi-Boy at some time in the future.
