Would anyone with a broken VB be willing to sell me one of the displays? The right one in my unit went out and I ended up goobering up the ribbon cable even further. :rolleyes The left display works great still.

Ok, I was able to get it working again, however there are still a few lines that appear on that side. I’ll keep plugging away at it.

Still, I’d like to know of a source that I could buy a couple of extra displays. I’d be great if they’re already modified and reinforced, but original is fine too.

My rarely used VB started having the horizontal lines problem on the right display yesterday when I brought it out of storage. 🙁

Quick question: once I get this thing apart, could I use a heat gun on extremely low heat or a normal hair dryer to heat the glue instead of using the oven? I don’t trust my oven to do a low enough heat. 😛
