Thanks RunnerPack! I knew it wasn’t a new thing to mount the VB on a stand, but I looked at what had been done previously and decided I could do it in a more simplistic and effective way.
Regarding the copyright infringement area, and speaking purely hypothetically:
What would the legal standpoint be with regard to Capcom’s IP if such a Hyper Fighting VB cartridge were to be sold supplied with a genuine copy of Street Fighter II for the SNES (approx price £5-10)?

So how much was the fix from from Runnerpack?
Why don’t you ask RunnerPack directly? He’s very helpful.
RP fixed my VB displays at a very fair cost* and did a terrific job.
Incidentally, I took an unusual route and ordered two displays off eBay to be sent to RunnerPack in USA. He then sent me the fixed displays to my address in United Kingdom. Quite a convoluted process, but it worked out great.
*No, I won’t say how much it cost me. I think that should be between you and RP.
Hebbe_84’s original post might have been seen as vulgar by those to whom VB is a very precious thing, but I think the response has been pretty bloody harsh.
It’s been my experience on the web that criticising a person’s (any person’s) grasp of a language doesn’t generally make you any friends, particularly if you’re doing it to take the mickey. It nearly always ends in recriminations.
Just saying, not wanting to stir things any more. Pax.
Heheh, ’80s kid here too (I have a month left before the four-oh).
I have a couple of G&Ws, and I always buy up cute handhelds whenever I see them. I’m not a serious collector though – my games are all visibly used, and get played too. One of my younger friends made me laugh after she played Mario Bros G&W and said “how do you switch it off?”.
I have very fond memories of a fog-drenched English school yard in winter, with every other kid there having a Game & Watch in his/her hands!
