I have 1 more VB Head Unit in similar cosmetic condition, with the same solder fix on the displays, performed by the same person.
The only difference with this second unit is that one of the displays was still a little touchy (tapping/pushing the cable would result in glitches), which I believe that I remedied by laying down 2 more beads of hot glue to immobilize the 2 end connections from not flexing when the IPD is adjusted.
Selling for $47 + shipping.
Pics attached. No, Space Pinball is *not* included! ;P
Weird eBayers. I had the Vectrex up for 1 week w/ an opening bid of $150 & got no bites. I relisted it w/ an opening bid of $150 & a BIN of $200 & it was snatched up right away: http://www.ebay.com/itm/160992560635
The pause is achieved simply by shorting a pin on the CPU to ground with a SPST latching pushbutton switch (a rocker or toggle switch would also work, but I didn’t want to cut a rectangular hole for a rocker & would worry that a toggle might snap off). https://groups.google.com/forum/#!topic/rec.games.vectrex/YfsN4wp7sFg/discussion
I have 1 more controller for sale, tested good, in great condition (9 out of 10), loose, that I’ve got for sale for $70 + shipping from 91754, if you or others have interest. I have several detailed pics of it.
Got my Bound High & Space Pinball. Space Pinball’s manual was damaged, but Vince took care of that FAAAAST by sending me a replacement–awesome customer support.
