I thought I would play this more often, but I can see how neck strain plays a role in the prolonged enjoyment of the console. I have it setup at my desk which looks nice at least for display.

What about the reflection on the sides from the screens. Is it noticeable?

in too!

Doesn’t mean anything. It’s a Nintendo console at heart, bomb or not.

That’s why it needs Kickstarter to get the word out.

I would do up to $100. Sure, the fanbase seems small on this website, but getting the word out on other websites and perhaps a kickstarter will get others notified ahead of time.

Got Mario Tennis in today from Ebay. Visuals and Audio work perfectly! No flicker or shaky immage *knock on wood*.

Now I can rest for a while.

Why all the secrecy? I’m sure it was upwards of $400 each. I’ve seen Youtube videos of the unboxing. Was there even a regular signup period for purchase?

I’m not bitter or angry, but why was the game physically produced in the first place? Isn’t that like the epitome of copyright infringement? Good for VB fans and the like.

It’s more set in stone when it is on a cartridge as opposed to a rom file.

Was this game even available to the general public? The way I saw it was that it was only available to a select group of inside people.

And what was the price those who got it physically? It would help in understanding why you’d not want it released as a full rom. Part of it seems unfair to those who wanted this game, but didn’t even have access to purchasing it to begin with.

Yeah, I have that too. I thought maybe it was an error with my adblock or ghost settings.

It might be the most economical/fastest way to get the game distributed, but I know a lot of collectors that would buy the game, physically, just because it’s released on a physical medium.

It would be cool to have physically released homebrew games that people are willing to pay $$$ for instead of releasing them as roms for free.

Got the screwdriver bit in today and did a test run of opening the unit up. It was fairly easy, so now I know when the time comes to solder the ribbon cables, I know how to disassemble it.

Do you think there will be another revision where you can store all the roms on the cart and just use a menu to switch between them?

Yeah. I’m looking for a cheap game so I can make sure everything is working before I settle down on more.

Got my controller and ac tap from Ebay. Came to $20 shipped!

Unfortunately, I still need a game inserted to test it out, so I have to wait longer to find a cheap one before I invest more into this!

I’ve heard it everywhere online that the bubble will burst, etc, but it hasn’t and is still increasing. Doesn’t mean it is inevitable though!

That’s pretty cool. I guess it’s the case of being in the right market to start up, and then the location for continuously getting new stock in at a regular basis. Though it’s hard to believe that the owner doesn’t venture outside the city for games or game deals.

Seems like part pro-small business and other part advertisement.

I have to wait on the Flashcart+. Does it fit all roms on the internal memory or memory card? I read a little on it and you seem to have to change out the games via USB to PC which isn’t ideal, imo.

I have a game bit set already but not a long extension for the virtual boy. Just bought one on eBay for $8
