A Kickstarter is not an option for licenced games like Faceball is.

When the ROM will be avalaible, maybe someone who doesn’t care about the risk of being caught by the owner of Faceball’s rights will make cartridge for us, for some cash, and will (secretly) share this money with Eric?

Uncletusk sayed he asked to him politely to stop the selling and he sayed yes.
But if you remember well: the seller was showing the game with pictures that he didn’t take himself. The pictures he used for the selling were pictures of uncletusk website.

I think, when uncletusk talked to him, he didn’t have the game yet. He had order it but didn’t receive it yet. So I think he got scared and stop the selling. Maybe he thought that uncletusk will find who he was and wouldn’t send the cartridge to him.

The pictures on the selling where taken today. So I assume he just got the cartridge and confident, he’s trying to sell it again.

Maybe we can start a kickstarter for raising a lot of money to help coders make a Virtual Boy game with original characters and gameplay and actualy sell it at the end. 🙂

I’ll give one thousand dollars to anyone who makes a Mario platformer on the VB like Mario Land VB would have been. 😀

I don’t think it’s a good idea.

If someone in a possesion of a prototype see the paypal account, he won’t make any offer to any one. Instead, (if he is clever), he will wait for months and years that the balance is really high before telling he has a proto.

If I was in a possesion of a proto, and there is 200$ more each months, I won’t tell anyone that I have one, and I will wait for years. I think I will stop waiting only when people will stop giving money to the paypal account.

So, a paypal account with a public balance is really bad I think…

I think i will be up for a 200$ edition. But i didn’t get all your message (i’m french) so i have some questions :
With the 200$’s edition, we will get the cartridge with Faceball proto, fine. But the rom? Is it gonna be on another cartridge?
And if there will be a different box and artwork for the two editions, I think we should see both boxes before doing our choice.

Yes, thank you KR155E, I really thought Mario Land VB was a real game and was canceled, rather than a demo.
It’s a shame there is not a true Mario plateformer on the Virtual Boy… This is the only Nintendo device without at least one Mario plateformer so far.

If someone complete a VB Mario’s homebrew someday, I will play it! 🙂

I ordered a copy of Bound High Tuesday evening. But I read the last pages of this topic and it seems like there is only 50 copies of the game.
So, will I be able to get one, or am I too late ? Is there gonna be new copies made?
