I’d heard much about the title but never played Snatcher before now. WOW – what an amazing game and an even more amazing port! Can’t wait to play through it on VB

It wasn’t on uncle tusk at all. A select few were approached and given an opportunity. What criteria was involved I’m not sure, but I’m assuming you had to be the type of person who collects for the right reason (ie not for profit), knowing the right people would have helped too. I also donated to MK a while ago, but I don’t think that was really considered(although it did land me a spot in the credits =P)
Very few could be made, so unfortunately, not everyone who deserved one could get one.
i had donated as well.
can you confirm if Mr. Kevums is in the credits?
I’ve been a member of the ng.com forums for 13 years now. Collection of AES, MVS, Hyper Neo Geo, etc.
Metal Slug, Neo Turf Masters, and (if affordable) Iron Clad would be some good go-to titles, but pure awesomeness is limited for NGCD players as it was only really supported up to the original SNK bankruptcy, with numerous key titles (even before then) never making it to disc.
Nevertheless, go check out the news section in the forum some time for a post labeled something like “so ive been working on this for a while…”. May be right up your alley. 🙂
I didnt have any issues, but as a precaution, i had him soldered my displays up. The same procedure is used to fix a variety of display-related issues.

Yeah, I remember that site as well, but never signed. If I’m not mistaken, I think that the website was hosted by a Dutch collector. 🙂 Good old days, check the oldness of the website.
Yes indeed – Ferry G. He went on to being a game blogger/writer elsewhere afaik..
Site graphics & animations = the official Space Jam page.

heh that was way back when people talked about rumors of the hong kong cart…and people thought insmouse was a platformer that was about a mouse…
Never heard about the latter of those two rumors, but i recall the hong kong cart. id say we are technically there (more or less) with the flashboy 😛
I ended up getting a GorillaPod as well, but not the original version. The SLR Zoom variant (in Black and Red, ofcourse) can supposedly handle up to 6lbs without a problem.
So this + 360° ball mount + 18″ heavy-duty gooseneck extension should allow the VB to be playable in any position.

Thanks guys, I would actually love to see it completed myself 😛
Maybe taking up its development again should be my project for “Virtualfest”
Why yes, what a grand idea! With the competition rule of re-entering a previous entry aside, this is the perfect time to do it big 🙂

now that is interesting, not only that its surfaced but to see how they have done the ‘click’ in location on the sides.
I might have to incorporate that into my link cable plug design.
speaking of, how is progress coming along on your link cable?
