this will have to be the future of this community. we can not use donors forever. i really like these and would like to try a few with my 1-off carts if they ever become available.
8. Writing: if you’re good at writing, then you could help out homebrewers with game story, dialogues, manual text and such.
my free time is limited by the work schedule, however, i’ve been wanting to write something epic for the VB for sometime (or perhaps even something smaller like some dialogue!).
i’ve previously worked on a few DS homebrew projects. i have years of professional/freelance copywriting/copy editing experience and a few works of unpublished fiction under my pen.
if anyone has a small writing project they need help with, let me know. i’d like to budget some time for this specific homebrew scene.
I was very pleased to see this post. This is something I discovered for myself a few years ago. The cases do work rather well, however they are not all made the same. I found some are slightly smaller and will not allow me to close the lid, and others need slight modification for the lid to close smoothly. Just FYI if you start buying these up in bulk.
on occasion we have also chatted in the channel #VirtualBoy on Efnet, IRC. it isn’t widely populated with PlanetVB members, but can be a chill place to idle and communicate about VB stuff.
I finally stumbled across a tutorial that included the correct syntax. I do believe my ROM is correctly patched. I flashed it to my FB+ and the game runs and plays. However, I do not see the 2 player link modes. Do these modes only appear if an active link has been established?
this came in the mail today. build quality is really nice. it fits in the EXT port perfectly. i’m waiting to find a second VB owner before i can test out the functionality.
thanks again for taking the time to complete these for the community.

Maybe not $30 but under $50 perhaps but never over $200 like on Ebay lol
HF was $150 CIB and a lot of people gladly paid it. some even got 2 copies. I would also like to see carts in the $30-50 range (without the CIB experience). it will all come down to the cost of materials and time I suppose.
