D’oh! I knew about this project, sorry I forgot to add it to the OG post!

Still working away at bringing the CIB set to completion!
Of the six titles two have already been released with the third on it’s way! (Can you guess which it is?)

I’m also working on and about to finish creating printable versions of the pack in inserts that came with Virtual Boy games. This way we can make new CIBs without needing to harvest things from actual games.

Then, my own Virtual Boy title!! 😀

You and I are in the same boat, brother. Still trying to complete my cart collection as well though, so you’ve got me beat there! Good luck to you!

Nice of you to ask, I wanted post about this for some time. As some of you might have noticed, I wasn’t as active for quite some time. That was mainly caused by having a slipped disk a year ago which was a rather painful experience. While I’m mostly pain-free right now, I can’t sit on my couch and program Virtual Boy games while watching TV with my wife anymore.

Didn’t want to quote your entire post, but I really wish you a speedy recovery with your back issues. I’ve had to deal with some myself in the past and know how horrible and debilitating it can be.

Very excited to see all of your ideas come to fruition, especially Snatcher! If you are willing, I would love to hear some of the ROM Hack ideas! I was just thinking the other day how cool it would be to get more simple to use level editors n such like we got with FacEdit and InsmEdit.

I don’t really have any programming skills myself, but love to mess around with any level editors, map editors, etc when given the chance.

Assuming this project is still happening, I’m interested as well. Sent a PM

So is it frowned upon for someone to sell their copy of Hyper Fighting as well then? (assuming it’s from the original batch)

If someone buys one of these “new” reproductions of Hyper Fighting that are popping up, would that person be frowned upon?

Not meaning to derail the topic, I’m just genuinely trying to see where the line is here.

Can you elaborate on this? I haven’t been here too long, so I don’t really know what the deal is with the sensitivity over Hyper Fighting carts.

These are being made, and I can guarantee they are not sending MK his cut.

This is so fantastic. I think I speak for most when I say I truly appreciate how much you are doing for this community and for the Virtual Boy’s future.

Can’t wait to see/read about other projects you have in mind, Kevin!

Complete copy of Mario Tennis just went up for $150 BIN… had only seem them going for over $200 as of late

Incredible work on this, MK. I have been blown away by how well the majority of games work.

I spent several hours testing GB games last night, and have a big pack of converted games that generally work.

I streamed about your emulator on my YouTube channel as I prepared the conversions:

I would love to see work continue on this, and I’m sure we could even put together crowdfunding to support you if it would help.

Yea, I would love to see this emulator developed further and would gladly chip in to help that happen. Some optimizations for better speed, maybe a frameskip option, some fullscreen options, etc. It’s adding an entire library of games to the virtual boy, which is awesome.

I’m in the same boat, would love to donate to the development if this were to become a thing

Hey idsblake and levine91, any of you guys ever try out the link cable?

Unfortunately not. Currently only own one VB, no link cable, and no games that have the link cable functionality

Amazing news!! Can’t wait for this to finally happen

This has been up for sale for that price for a while. I think it’s basically confirmed as final.

Ah ok, I had been scouring eBay for weeks now and just saw it as a new listing. Must have just been relisted.

Just got this reply from the guy on AtariAge –

Greetings

Should be something easy to have made. I will obtain some samples. Seems like it would be reasonable to make the dust caps at the same time

Progress! Won’t get too excited, but this sounds very promising.

Development cart for Virtual Baseball… Seller states it these were sent out to press before the game was actually released… They aren’t sure if it’s the final version or an earlier version.. untested…. They want $2500 for it?!?! Yikes… (or best offer)

**sigh…** why couldn’t it be Dragon Hopper?

Awesome!!! Very excited for this, just started contributing to the Patreon.

Damn, those look great. Can only imagine how slick they would look in red.

Oh man this is awesome!!!

Hope it sees a physical release one day!

Well good news, got a response.

He is on vacation and will be relisting them when he returns on Sunday.
