I find that it runs great on my Windows XP machine. Sound is excellent compared to Reality Boy, and it runs Red Alarm! too!

If you don’t want to use a GUI front end, you can always drag & drop your *.VB files on top of the executable file. Works fine for me…

Great news!

I just tried out a few ROMs, including Bound High! and Red Alarm – and this emu works great!

I just use http://www.esnipe.com – no more biding wars.

I run Project 64 v1.6 on my Vista laptop, and I find it runs about 85% of the games perfectly or close to it….

Why don’t you type up the corrections and submit them to the admins?

I love racers, so if Zero Racer even exists it would be great to see.

Oh well, if folks don’t want to share I can always go play games on another system, and ignore my Vboy…

I have noticed this as well. I mark the forum as read at the highest level, but when I drill into the forum tree the sub-forums are still unmarked.

Great news!

This is some great news! I will check it out tomorrow on my Win machine (I’m on my Linux laptop right now).

Some of you may not be aware of Mednafen’s previous work here:

I wear eyeglasses. The VB has a large ‘goggle area’ and is fine to use for people with glasses.

Personally I am glad to see these released so that others can finally have a chance to try them out.

I think it’s okay but nothing unusual.

It varies a lot from game to game…

I have three Japan imports. Vertical Force and V-Tetris are both primarily in English, and are quite playable without knowing any Japanese.

I also have a Japan release of Jack Bros. This is a hassle because all the onscreen dialogue is in Japanese only. There are manuals and FAQs available online in English, and you can puzzle things out enough for the game to be quite playable.

I think it’s great. I’ve been thinking that the VBoy could use a good racing game, and then the contest brings us not one but TWO racing entries.

I think the contest has been a real success, and I hope to see more in the future…

You have until October 7 to vote.

I don’t have a FlashBoy, but I’ll try all of these out with RealityBoy.
It’s good to see some new games for the VB…!

Tried running it with RealityBoy – it looks very impressive!

Have you put in an entry, Akumie?
