I would like to support a new VB game. However you should relaese a working prototype first. And furthermore please use Kickstarter. Collecting money in a forum isn’t very trustworthy imo. With Kickstarter you may reach a larger audience as well.

the pics look great. ive been soldering for years, and can say this looks pretty easy. I definitely want one of these DIY kits when theyre ready.

I agree. I’d love to buy a kit as well.

If anyone is interested, I’ll have some DIY link plugs available next month.

I’m interested in the plugs. How much are you asking for the plugs including shipping?

I’m also interested in a physical copy of Hyper Fighting.

Yes, its available as midi 🙂
Because of copyright reasons I probably won’t release the game with this music, but I could write a tool with which you could replace music data.

that would be awesome 🙂

Your raycasting engine does also look very nice. I’m really impressed what happened in the homebrew scene since the release of the flashboy.

great game. I ever wanted to play an Outrun clone on the Virtual Boy.

I hope you can add midi sound in a future release. I pretty sure the the classic Splash Wave from Outrun is available as midi 🙂

I had the same idea today ^^

I hope someone can put the scans together and remove the dust.

The filenames ending with _filter.tif are scanned with an Epson software filter. It should be a better quality but I don’t think so. So you will get the scans with filter and without filter.

very nice videos 🙂 You can see the so called ‘Video Boy’ in action. A developers device to show Virtual Boy games on a television. The guy in the second video wears special 3D glasses. I’d love to own such a unit. Would be fun to play Red Alarm on a Beamer.
