That looks awesome! Looking forward to it.

I am interested, depending on the price.

I have a feeling all those are probably not “public domain”.

Definitely interested in the programmer should a solution ever be found for the edge connector.

How easy would it be to dump carts with this?

Okay, I guess a better way to have phrased my original question would have been “is someone still planning on making a USB cable?”.

Nobody started making a USB one… Don’t know if there’s any software supporting it on the PC but it might be possible to hook up one of those USB COM-port TTL level cable… Prolific and similar…

DogP did a few years back.

Thank you both for your replies. While I haven’t done any coding for the Retrode, my understanding is that it uses heuristics if there is no ROM size in the header.

The source code is not publicly available, but is available upon request to the creator.

No problem. Thanks for checking!

Great, thanks!

If there’s anything about the 64DD in them, that would be nice to see as well if you wouldn’t mind.

I now have every Nintendo console, except the Wii U.

Now you have to get one. It’s a really great console.

I’m running into a very minor glitch where the icon for PVB in my favorites will change from the Virtual Boy to a white background with, I think, a VB. If I load the page again from my favorites it goes back to normal.

Some more info. It uses parallel.

I finished the Toad level and Box House, but not Champion’s Road yet, I will however.

You can always backup the saves with hardware like the Retrode.

Thanks for the comments, guys.

Yeah… when I built my first prototype VB<->PC cable years ago, a ROM dumper / memory reader/writer / remote code executer was the first application I wrote.

I am very interested then!

Would it be possible to dump carts with the USB cable?

Well, I myself don’t know how to make an adapter for the Retrode, and the one I currently have is simply being borrowed, so unfortunately, I won’t be able to help you there.

Ah, okay. I’ll just have to try myself then. With the little soldering experience I have it’ll be good practice.
