Thank you both for your replies. While I haven’t done any coding for the Retrode, my understanding is that it uses heuristics if there is no ROM size in the header.
The source code is not publicly available, but is available upon request to the creator.
I’m running into a very minor glitch where the icon for PVB in my favorites will change from the Virtual Boy to a white background with, I think, a VB. If I load the page again from my favorites it goes back to normal.
Yeah… when I built my first prototype VB<->PC cable years ago, a ROM dumper / memory reader/writer / remote code executer was the first application I wrote.
