It is extremely rare in my opinion, though happens more on Japanese VBs than USA ones. Just saw it on one USA display and 7 times on a Japanese display.

then when there is no difference thet your offer is verry generous from 600$
whit no diffrence i will say 400 to 500 dollar is the right price

Benjamin Stevens wrote:
Yep, I agree. $600.00 was actually my very generous offer, and I feel embarrassed to admit that I offered such a high amount.

There is definitely no difference between the ROM on the prototype cart and the ROM of the final game.

I totally agree it have more value then the normal game
But this asking price is crazy
Probbely it will sell some time in the future but not for this price
I think a value off 350 tot 600 dollar is right for a item like this ( depands in iff there are diffrents in the game so in what stadium the rom on it is )

Please pardon me if this is a repost, but this is pretty big. http://www.ebay.com/itm/Virtual-League-Baseball-Nintendo-Virtual-Boy-sample-test-development-prototype-/262898065088?hash=item3d35f21ec0:g:2u4AAOSw4GVYRv1t

I honestly feel that the seller has no clue about the Virtual Boy market / collector community. The seller probably thinks, “Hey, Virtual Bowling can sell for close to $1,500.00, and this is way more rare than that, so surely it can sell for over $2,000.00.” Nevertheless, I’d be extremely shocked if anybody out there would want to pay anything even close to that. I’ve tested the seller myself with what I thought were extremely generous offers for such a thing, and it seems the seller doesn’t want to sell it for much less than the asking price.

Yes that is correct that whas the last one
Evry where i looked i cant find it and like you know i have my ways in japan
before i whas looking for that one ( first i did not want them ) i had already 3 copy’s but have sold them all ;(

In my eyes this japan copy’s are really the hardest to get games for Virtual boy

Benjamin Stevens wrote:
Well yeah, I know now that the Mario’s Tennis one is legit, since I have a copy of it in my collection.

Your collection, Mawa, is actually what made me doubt its existence for a while, since I know that was the last one you needed to complete your Japanese demo game collection, and you had been trying to complete yours long before I started trying to complete mine.

Hello,
I am not based in the UK but based in the neterlands
iff you looking to buy a virtual boy I will have some in stock soon
Are you looking for boxed or a loose one
let me know shipping is not that high from Netherlands to UK
greetings

Benjamin Stevens wrote:
Okay, I just wanted to make sure you understood the rarity. For a while, I actually wasn’t even convinced that the Mario’s Tennis one was legit, as I couldn’t find a single photo of a real copy online.

I can certainly help you in your Japanese auction search, as I will probably fish for Virtual Boy stuff online for likely the rest of my life, so if something pops up that you need, I’ll drop you a line.
