Found this tucked away, if anyone’s interested in the 3D glasses sealed that came with the Nintendo power with the Virtual boy on the cover. http://www.ebay.com/itm/Virtual-Boy-3D-Glasses-UNOPENED-envelope-from-Nintendo-Power-Issue-75-RARE-/280980791761?pt=Video_Games_Games&hash=item416bc2a1d1
This Jack bros manual also.
My point was I’ve checked before for it and I’m sure everyone of us has. We all wanted to be the one to find it first at what cost? I am aware you can have ebay email when these things come up, but I’ve looked randomly when I’m om Ebay, I’m sure I’m not the only one that wasted time searching for it. If Richard didn’t post it first, which I was aware of btw. One of us would have wanted to be the first. I was just trying to convey how quickly we would turn on each other like 83skillz did all of us. I was being facetious. Even when I said, dont he know we have nothing better to do than sit at home search for it and expose him for selling it, I was being sarcastic. Sorry if that didn’t come across over the internet. We are in a weird way a Virtual Boy family. We should all try not to be like 83Skillz. He stabbed us in the back.

I said it before & will say it again, I would NEVER sell my copy of Bound High. I’m gonna play devils advocate. We all new someone was going to do it someday! Richard new too! That’s why he said we better not put it on ebay. We just didn’t know when and who would do it.
Now that we know, people are saying, lets go after the guy & harass him through email, which isn’t right either! Others say, stop the buyer of the game, some say whats the point. But what is the point of even posting the fact that someone put Bound High on ebay if we all had to pay a penalty for it. Just to be the first one on this site to say Hey, look what I found on ebay, bound high?
Now we all have to suffer the consequences of this joker. Im sure Richard doesn’t have the time to troll ebay all the time to check to see if its there, why do we? Im not gonna lie I checked ebay before to see if one of you all have put it up before as im sure a lot of you have as well.
If I ever found that any of you had, I debated whether I would say, because I didnt want to contribute to ruining it for everyone. We all are self destructing on this site, its done, game was sold! Let go back to loving the VB, and appreciating each other! I love this site & the people on it! Minus 83Skillz, for what he did.
This is my opinion, Im sure you have yours.
I could NEVER sell my copy! Its such a good game & one of my crown jewels! I feel like I’m giving the finger to Nintendo for not releasing it, every time I play it, That’s too bad, he did that. He should know better that all of us on this site have nothing better to do with our lives, other than sit and wait for it to show up on ebay and expose him! We were waiting for it! Some more than others.
WOW! Nice pictures! I bow before the greatness that is your virtual boy collection!
That poor virtual boy! It looks stupid painted all white! Can you imagine buying it and trying to get all that white crap off?
My system has recently gotten the red lines issue too. It happens on Insmouse more than any other game for me. Sometimes it will work great for days then I put in Insmouse, and red lines are everywhere. They show up on other games too but its rare. Tell that guy its his system & for gods sakes to do some research on the red lines!
I love my bound high game! I could never part with it. If we ever see one of Richards bound high carts show up on ebay we could report it and get it off of there. Ebay pulls Starfox 2 carts off all the time for being unreleased. If Richard don’t want them on ebay, we’ll get em off if they show up someday!
That’s a nice hat! I’ve not seen one before. Congratulations on buying it!
I’m confused also, I just checked Ebay & there are a lot of “virtual” league baseball games on there plus a ton of other virtual boy stuff using the word in their title. So why was he banned from using the word but others are not?
Not me! My Ebay handle is lmel1518. Plus I don’t own a Flashboy, and would never sell it if I did!
No it’s not fanboyism, people are alarmist. When the Gamecube was almost at the end of its cycle, my friend told me he read that Nintendo was so unhappy with the Gamecube they were were going to become a 3rd party publisher and not make systems anymore. The worst part was he agreed with it because he HATED the gamecube. People put that rumor out there, Nintendo never said that. In the wake of the success of the Wii & various DS Systems I can say he was WRONG! If you look on the internet now those same rumors are starting again, with people not being sure about Wii U and DS price drop, all the same rumors start 5 years later.
Even if it is fake that label is still really sweet! I like it!
Great! I needed my virtual boy fix for the day! It sucked when the site was down!! I’m glad It’s back!
Gunpei, Chalvo, or Nester.
I would have broken my virtual boy in anger. I once cracked a super famicom cart in half when I couldn’t remove the screw, out of frustration. I admire your patience in this removal!
Good! I’m glad you told him. I was a little pissed when it didn’t work properly. That is everything I would have wanted to say to him! THANKS! I left positive feedback for him before I checked to see if the bit fit. I wish I could take it back! Let us know if you get a refund.
I bought this bit a while ago. It still needs to be filed down on the sides to reach the screws that are really far down. It’s a lot better than the smaller bits. Here is a tip, put the bit in the screwdriver and hand file the sides while the bit is in the screwdriver, it takes a little longer by hand but you will only need to file half the bit. The other half stays fit into the screwdriver and it will fit down there once filed.
The magazine has a section for people like you that make Nintendo things, art, case mods, cosplay suits. Send it via e-mail to community@nintendopower.com or via snail mail to Nintendo Power/Community c/o Future US,4000 Shoreline Court, STE 400, South San Francisco, CA 94080. I have every issue from #1 to the current #268 and people haven’t even come close to making what you made! I know they’ll put it in the magazine! Let us know if & when you send it in.
Unfreakinbelievable!
That is so awesome! You got the color just right, the size, the font, the dedication, it is just perfect! You should send a picture to Nintendo or Nintendo Power Magazine, maybe this would help them acknowledge the fact people still play this system, maybe they’ll show virtual boy some 3DS virtual console love! Congrats to you and great job. I’m just in shock! It’s beautiful! I want one or want to play one! Will you be making more or is this one of a kind? Either way, I bow down before your greatness! You rock!
