Wow, impressive!

Beware those TXS0108 translators. They don’t like bus capacitance and won’t work well between a flash cart and the VB. You’ll have no end of problems. They’re meant as bidirectional translators for on board chip to chip applications, not for signals that go off board.

Just to close the loop here, units are shipping out. Preorders are 50% shipped as of today.
Best to use the PlanetVB Discord for any updates coming from myself and projects I’m working on.
I don’t check here very often these days.

Of course we remember you. Reach out and I’ll send you a free copy of WZ. I may be able to get you a rumble as well. Depends on stock levels. A lot of us are on Discord these days.

A small number have shipped out, otherwise I’m waiting for more box sets. Supposed to arrive this Friday but I’m guessing holidays will slow that. You can always reach out to me directly. It’s just chance someone mentioned that you posted a question here. Thanks.

Still on the road map. I’ve also changed the design from the original MB schematics. Just for documentation purposes, the original Multiboy design was routed and ready for PCB fabrication. But there are better options now. I’ve also about run out of other things to do for VB, and no one else has done a VB multicart design, so I suppose I’ll have to do it. Like I’ve mentioned on the Discord channel, shipments of HF32 flashcarts and other designs like VB rumble and VB BlueRetro have delayed me working on MB again. Just not enough hours in the day.

He’s on eBay these days. His site has been down for quite a while but he still makes VB CIBs from time to time.

Very nice sir!

My only comment is you probably want to use translators instead of just inline resistors. There’s a reason most of the flash carts use the 245 translators chips and they’re only a couple dollars each. The concern is on the STM32 side. The VB input should work at 3.3V logic.

And if you haven’t already, you’ll want to sign up for the Discord channel. Most activity is there these days.

Nice work sir!

We can only hope it would run that smoothly. 🙂

So it exists but cannot be released. We can hope for a leak one day.

This is comical.

I’d email UncleTusk. He just had them available again not too long ago, I thought.

Should be in mm. You can measure your link port on your VB for scale.

Yeah, a lot of great detail. Thanks sir!

That’s fun to see. Played it online. Thanks!

Awesome little demo. Feels like I’m playing a comic book.

Thanks for the post sir! This should make it more clear what I have available and what’s coming up. The site will grow as time goes on with more content and other consoles.

This is really great news for BWR people. Thanks Thunder!

Here’s the latest clear cases. Given how long this has dragged out, and that I think new shells are coming later this year from a couple sources, I’m going to stop my work on this. My mold guy wants to make molds but isn’t so interested in producing the actual parts. Given all my other projects, I’m pausing this one.
