In the Vectrex scene, a guy paid about $20K to have a mould made. Repro cases then became under $2 to buy.

BTW the VB cart case needs redesigning to match the connector you found. Otherwise we’re still stuck using donors.

I use MyROPCB. Cheap and good quality boards.

BTW have you found an off-the-shelf case for your cart ?

is the flash card is still available

Yes, I’ve just built another batch.

Email me.

I’ve just been playing it (on hardware). I really like it.

It’s cool that it shows the GameHero title screen instead of the normal VB one.

PM’d

I got the cart today. Tested it, and it’s working fine here.

I don’t understand why folk don’t contact me direct. I will gladly sort out any repairs etc.

Send it back to me. I’ll take a look / repair it for you.

(PM me if you don’t have my shipping address)

I’ve just thought what my contribution can be. I will donate a FlashBoy to HorvatM so he can fix the sound engine.

While you’re asking, see if they have any cart cases and connectors lying around. There’s got to be boxes of those in a warehouse somewhere.

Exactly as Ben said. Send me 3 donor carts and I’ll get a Space Pinball sent to you ASAP.

(don’t forget to include a note with the carts)

Thanks

That’s actually the label Chris did a while back.

AFAIK VirtualJockey is still working on cleaning up the original artwork for a new label.

Ahh yes, “Bound High for money”. I was a victim (or beneficiary) of purchasing this rom (Not from Jojobean, was an ebay auction for a flashboy).

Do I understand this right, someone was selling a FlashBoy with the BoundHigh ROM flashed on it ?

That’s homemade. I’d say cart dumper.

Also, i am still sorting out the cart-production side of things. So if anyone has suggestion or is able to help out here, please email/PM me.

If you’re planning a large run of games, using donors is no good.

You’ll need a solution using the connector e5frog used in his home made EPROM cart.

I have a label based on a cleaned up version of that poster. I think Chris sent it me ages ago. Looks nice.

Here it is –

If TheForce81 is OK with me doing it, I’m willing to make it into a cart.

Same deal as Bound High – 3 donors.

If I ever get the money together to buy a UP!, I will produce these for free. Black ABS filament now available.

I’m also very curious how a VB cart case would come out.

If you have the .stl file you could get it made on a MakerBot / UP! or such 3D printer.
