The flashboy doesn’t have a save feature

It does

Would you sell me one of the stands ?

If anyone wants one making, I charge 1 donor cart per holder.

I can 3D-print you a visor holder if that’s any help ?

Not to go off topic but, is this the new PCB with the 2 8mb chips?

No, that was a ROM board for Hyper Fighter (and other 32MBit games).

is it safe to tell them that if their FB+ was ordered after September 2014 that they should not experience the USB cable phenomenon?

Correct.

Sorted now.

My good friend Eric (bigmak) is sending one of his and I’ll square it with him later.

I did look at micro USB, but they all seem to be surface mount. I like a thru-hole mount for added strength.

AAMOI this batch is a revised board. I managed to fix the comms glitch (so now any length USB cable can be used).

A multicart with all the official 24 games and all homebrew demos would be nice
Better than the 1+ min to load a new game with the flashboy

Make one then. Don’t rely on others to do all the work.

FYI I’m building some more boards over the weekend, so they’ll be re-stocked soon.

Thanks for posting the pics. It really is an amazing find.

If the lugs are too big I’ll edit the model

I was referring to drunkencat’s model. Your’s fit’s OK.

BTW, do they make plastic stock that glows in the dark?

Yes, green and blue glowing.

There’s also UV colour-changing filament.

does it clip to the vb properly ???

Only thing wrong is the clip lugs a too large to fit into the base.

I’m in the middle of printing your revised clip. Don’t know if you changed the size of the lugs ? (will find out in 15 minutes).

Hope it works, be interested to see results.

OK, apart from the centre of the base. The inner cylinder wasn’t attached to anything.

I can’t test them because I don’t have a stand for my VB.

If you can export the files as .stl, I’ll have a go at printing them for you.

If anyone wants a new visor I’m 3D printing them.

Price – 2 donor carts.

That link cable is a hell of a find. VERY interesting indeed.

I’m sure DogP and Hedgetrimmer would love to take a close look at it.

Should the VB hardware stop being used?

Talking rubbish.

You just turn up now and again to do some trolling.

Hi Rolf, try contacting Uncle Tusker. I sent him some a while back and I’m sure he’s got some left.

Are the parts easier / cheaper to come by than what you’d been using in the past?

More expensive. 5V flash is getting harder to find and the guys with the old stock charge higher prices as it gets rarer. Plus, this board uses 2 chips.
