I’m not going to the Post Office today. Let me explain.Something is going on with me – I don’t know what – but I’m suffering from pretty bad vertigo for the first time in my life, which is terrifying for someone who’s always been pretty healthy and who is very independent. My doctor says that it’s not uncommon for fluid buildup to mess with the inner ear.
But I’m not safe to drive. I took a five mile round trip to pick up some things from my mom’s house, and it was excruciating and extremely difficult. Maintaining balance is very difficult. My fiancee has offered to take care of the international packages for me on Monday, and I sincerely apologize for this further delay.
I’m honestly kind of scared. I’ve NEVER been sick like this. It makes me feel weak and dependent, and I don’t feel in control of myself. Even sitting in front of my computer, I’m dizzy and nauseated.
ive had that. its normal, not dangerous at all just go to a chiropractor thats capable of ear and sinus adjustments.

I’ve been contacted by at least one user who has informed me that they had difficulties installing the VirtualCable, in that they could not form a solid solder bridge from board to cable. I wouldn’t give it much credence if it were not someone who is a professional. That bothers me a little bit. I mean, I had some trouble with it, but I’m by no means an expert. But if an expert has issues, what does that mean to the amateur?
Fortunately, this user relayed to me that they arrived at an unorthodox solution.
By bending the cable pins in half underneath themselves, this user was able to create a solid connection.
I think that, if there is interest in a second run, that I will remove the castellated holes idea and try for a less finicky solution. Turns out 0.6mm pads are a little too small for castellations to be as helpful as I had first imagined.
My apologies, everyone.
i just wanted to add. use some tweezers to bend the contacts. it make it easier and and once bent over flatten with a cylinder object like a roll of tape on a hard flat surface. but be careful not to press too hard as you can break the little contact on the ribbon cable. i made that mistake and had to bridge it with a very tiny wire. which is not easy lol. AFTER ALL THAT TAKE SOME KAPTAIn (or scotch) tape and place it over the front and back of the cable to ensure it doesn’t break from moving the ips ajustment over time.

No walk in the park eh? What’s involved in actually fixing it because it seemed most figured it was some messed up IC or another mysterious part failure from what I’ve read.
oh the alignment issue? its a very well hidden adjustment. it only took me fixing 250 consoles to figure it out… but i have to take the console apart and mess with the adjustment wile the game is on to get it to look right. not an easy task…
bump lowered price a bit

Hi,I’m based in the UK & recently bought a Japanese VB which turns out to have issues with the right display. It has lots of vertical lines running through it which from reading up on here suggests the ribbon needs sorting.
Can anyone recommend someone UK based who can help me out please?
theforce81 can fix it for you hes your nearest in the netherlands
small update i finally figured out how to fix out of alignment displays. it will be added as an extra service. cause fixing out of alignment displays is no walk in the park and take some time to manually calibrate.
At least no one will have to pay 60 dollars to get the mirrors replaced anymore.
yes you have to use all the ground pins. also heres a fix. the manual had an error.

I have a VB that needs repair. The left eye seems washed out / too bright and the right eye has lines going through it. The last time I used my VB, I just had to leave it on for an hour or so and all the interference was gone…but that’s not working anymore.I was hoping to get a permanent fix for the eyes, plus have two VirtalTap kits installed: One VGA and one RGB (I already have both kits). Is there anyone in the NYC area, or within a short shipping distance that can do this?
PM sent!
