I wouldn’t say WW is the world’s worst, but it’s certainly not at the top of the VB list. I really didn’t enjoy it all that much. It really did bore the hell out of me. Unless you are a collector, I’d suggest staying away from it. Of course, you could always buy it and try it. If you loath it as much as others do, you can resell it.
Yeah, but not many people really list “broken” VBs. Some do, but I’d think that most people just throw them away and either buy another or sell their games off.
The Ebay repair idea is not a bad one, DogP. But, people may not be willing to trust you with it. They may think it’s some sort of scam or something. Not everyone knows you are trustworthy. All you can do is try.
They aren’t too rare. The are cheaper and more common than Waterworld. Not to mention a lot more fun. Then again, putting a toothpick under the nail of your big toe and kicking the wall is more fun than playing Waterworld. 3-D Tetris is an ok game. I still find regular Tetris more entertaining.
Ha! It’s almost like this dude was waiting for the perfect time to sell his store display. Oddly enough, it is one that is missing the inserts. This could work out perfectly.
How can ANY video game be considered efficient? It’s not like you are producing anything with it. But, I still get your point. It could have been designed a little better as far as ergonomics though. Mainly with the stand. After playing for a while (2-3 hours) I feel like I just walked out of a SLAYER concert. My self made Lamp-O-Tron solves that.
Try to remember that pretty much any VB that you buy is in used condition. Even if it wasn’t played with much, there is no telling how often it may have been dropped or thrown around before it reached your hands. You could just do like I do and own 4 VB units. If one dies, I’ll try and fix it. If I can’t, then I have 3 back ups 🙂
I have posted here off and on for the past couple of years. I was using the handle “Sir William” for a while. I decided to stick with Opeth since I use that name on other forums. I’ll send some pics as soon as I can 😀
LBA- Yeah, the last one I saw go up sold for a low amount as well. I’m guessing because more people like the one from Block Buster better due to the actual VB sticker on it. To me, this one seems like more of an odd ball item.
No, it IS a vb case. The last one I saw on ebay looked exactly the same as this and had better pictures. Anyway, if it is not exactly as described, I can always give negative feedback and request a refund. 🙂 I’m quite certain this is no scam. As I said, I’ll post pictures when I get it.
Hey, I think it’s all fine and good to sell a recolored VB on the internet. But, to start rumors in order to try and trick people into thinking it’s something that it really isn’t is just lame.
I was thinking the EXACT same thing. He even mentioned that it may appear on ebay soon. He even mentioned the white matching controller and everything.
Yeah, but I wonder how many of them still work/exist. Sure, 770,000 seems like a decent amount, but units break or parts are lost or some could get lost in natural disasters (ie. floods, fires, and the like). God only knows exactly how many complete working systems still exist.
