So maybe now I can start doing Virtual Boy video reviews 😀

These days everybody with a videocamera wants to be a reviewer! 🙂

In my opinion, just do a series of videos showing what VB games are really like (but in depth) so people (particularly VB haters) will get enlightened.

First, I’m not new to it. Second, thats basically a review, minus opinion. Whats wrong with opinion? Remember, I like VB.

I tried another camera that worked, with the shutter at 1/50 instead of 1/100. So maybe now I can start doing Virtual Boy video reviews 😀

Today the lines are gone…… Weird.

I have white lines coming in mostly on the left eye but a little on the right one as well. That oven trick sounds very… dangerous. But I have no technical skills… One odd thing is that some games have the problem more than others.

Changing the palette to red and black enhances the feeling while playing this game 😀

I’m at stage 2, am I supposed to get a powerup to jump higher? Because theres a jewel I can’t reach…

Sorry, I wasn’t here in 2003 I didn’t even know about the VB then. And sorry about rom-linking, I thought it would probably be removed but tried anyway. So I’ll keep my excitement for myself and leave this thread and go pretend none of us ever downloads commercial roms =P

I like the original GBA. Sure the screen isn’t backlit and my thumb usually covers the speaker while playing, but it’s more comfortable and feels like a controller, which the SP doesn’t.

Lose the flying sound effect, or make the jump quicker so I don’t have to hear it constantly, and you got yourself a fun little game. Good work!

Hmm… whats the object of the game? And is the even VB capable of smooth 3D, I mean 3D Tetris was slow, and that was an official game.

Anyway, amazing to have this 3D world in a VB game. Keep working on it!

I just tried this in my Flashboy. If it was the final version, I would have said “This game is annoying”, but of course its a demo and in development. It does have great potential, and awesome graphics. An attack would be nice, and theres a problem that you can die from enemies coming out where youre trying to go to the next screen. Also, make it so you can restart the game after dying 🙂

I implore you to keep developing this game, it could be a great one!

My issue: Nester’s Funky Bowling doesn’t work…

I just played it on my Flashboy and it’s glitch-free and GREAT! I love the game.

Me. Did you beat it the second time as well? I agree… it really is a great game, but really not too difficult.

I’m working on the second time. My chances were ruined when I completely forgot the key location in the house level. I want to see Wario with the scantily-clad woman in the best ending I’ve read about 😛

I want screenshots!

Well I won it for $107,50, yay!

Can’t wait to try all VB games and the homebrews.

Thanks. So I can download the loader and get a USB cable and be ready to go then?

I think opposite, I don’t like Teleroboxer because I find it hard to play and even harder to win at. I love V-Tetris because… it’s Tetris!

Theres one on ebay right now but it’s just the cart. Could any of you supply me with info on how to put games in it and any program that needs to be used, if I win the auction?
Also, a question on the flashboy, it’s like you put one game in at a time and when you turn the virtual boy on it plays that game? I’m used to with other flash carts to put more than one game in there and then choose in a list.

I so want to play Insmouse no Yakata…
