Is this “good version” you claim to have the same version you tried to sell me last month, which you said was a cart dump, and which you said you’d never offered to anyone else?
It is, and at the time I hadn’t offered it to anyone else. I certainly wouldn’t be giving it to some guy on craigslist, I can tell you that much. Keep that stuff in the community. I’ve since found out its not a cart dump and that I paid $3000k for a compiled game 8-O. At least it runs perfectly.
Mmmm, I have this offer in my mail too…
Same here actually. I just checked. I remember he wanted to know if I had any prototypes.
Yeah, I just wanted to let you guys know that I had a similar problem. I have flashboy #5, I dug it out to play the new dumps and figured I would come here to get newer versions of the flashboy program and padder. Every single game I tried had write errors padded and unpadded. I even tried the different padding options and nothing worked. In the end I ended up using the programs that came on the disc and they both worked like a charm.
The reason the virtual boy is so awesome is because of the unique technology. Could you imagine what gaming today would have been like if this console was a hit? How awesome would it have been for 4th or 5th generation games to come out for it.
If it was a hit you could be sure that wii would have been in completely 3d. VB technology is way ahead of its time. Graphics on consoles can only improve to a certain point. immersiveness is the next step.
The next step in video games is true 3d, until then the only technology that comes close is the VB.
Im sorry, Its just not fair. I hate this argument and the direction it always goes in. There are so many people out there that dont make enough money to plunk down thousands of dollars on ultra rare virtual boy games. It just sucks to not be able to play a new game for this system.
One game I would like to bring up that didnt decrease in value when the rom was released was the coveted nintendo world championships cart. How come all the ones floating around arent worth $100 yet the rom has been released. And on top of that it IS the holy grail of video games.
This is a good question. I would like to know too if anyone knows where I can find one too. I sometimes have that graphic glitch problem and want to take it apart to fix it.
Funny thing, I wasn’t hesitant either and put in my order and paid quickly. But now im like, ohhh damn I can’t believe I spent that much money on a vb cart.
Im sure once im playing some rare and homebrew on it I’ll have a big smile on my face and be glad I bought one. Now im curious which number i got. I would laugh if it was 002-005.
I think I got here too late. I hope they didnt disappear within the first hour. Friggen time difference. Last night I said to myself. Im going to check constantly tomorrow. I hope i got through.
