Definitely in the Flashboy! I’ve been wanting one for months but haven’t had the funds. Last I spoke to Minestorm, he was still making them. I should finally order mine tomorrow

I find that buying a broken console off eBay is best. Most of them only have display issues which is a matter of getting someone like RunnerPack to solder them. Once they’re soldered, they pretty much will never have glitchy issue and you scored a fairly cheap console even with repair costs.

Sometimes you can find some games at various flea markets or swap meets. Every now and again eBay and Amazon will have some games for decent prices.

That’s a really fair price on those consoles! I’m used to hearing hundreds for these things and not as well done either. Do you sell these on a site or by commission?

New update: New vinyl was mailed out yesterday. Keep your fingers crossed or pray to the Virtual Boy gods that it arrives Friday or Saturday when it’s expected (or even at all would be nice)

Ok, I got the beast home and into, “the shrine” as my hubby and friends call it. It works with the PowerPak flash cart but it’s still a bit glitchy. My husband actually asked me if we could restore it completely and my jaw dropped to the floor lol. Usually he think’s I’m crazy for collecting video games & consoles so this took me pleasantly by surprise. I guess that may be a future project as long as I can find someone willing to help me with the 3D printing aspect.

Thanks for the kind words. Sadly, new snag. Supposedly it was mailed out and I was supposed to receive it Wednesday and I still haven’t gotten it. I am really getting sick of this to be honest. Last time I use this place for vinyl.

“Virtual” was misspelled as “Vertual”

I suppose you’re right. They are all cut finally and should be mailed out today *fingers crossed*
This time they’re spelled correctly and the sizes seem right too.

I was just sent a picture of the graphics before they cut them and it’s spelled wrong… *bangs head against wall*

On the bright side, it was caught before I actually received them…

Getting pretty annoyed with the vinyl person. I placed an order damn near a month ago and I still haven’t gotten my graphics. It’s so frustrating being so close to being finished with my project and not being able to do anything about it for so long. Ugh…

This celebration sounds like it’s gonna be a blast! I’m so excited to participate. While I’m no expert with the technicals, I’m sure I can find a way to contribute 🙂

I only own 2 physical games Wario Land and Mario’s Tennis and of the 2 I LOVE Wario Land. I’ve emulated a couple games on my Mac and out of those, Jack Bros. is another fun one.
