I was one of the highest tier of backers (since no one did the box) and never got the music tracker. I only wanted the game honestly.

October 3rd of last year I sold one for 200 plus shipping on eBay. The box on mine was slightly nicer as was cart and I had a cord. I’d throw out a 150 number as a guess. I didn’t expect mine to sell at 200 was expecting to eventually get an offer a little less.

He contacted me on April 12th regarding getting him pics for the head in a jar perk for the bombenlegger game. I haven’t heard from him since.

Yes. I didn’t make them. Actually bought a working vb and 11 games (10 in these cases) partially because of the cases and figured I’d sell the extra games and instructions I didn’t need.

I have recently acquired a spare vertical force and manual. The cart sticker is faded. No dust cover. I would do 40 shipped paypal goods or I’d knock off whatever the fees are from the price if you wanted to do friends and family. The case pictured is not included.

Can you explain this PCB further as to what it does. You say receive the rgb signal and attach to mini din 8 connector. I have a few rgb virtual taps and was having someone install a mini din 8 connector but what does the PCB do?

It is shown here.

If you have a larger collection there’s always something like this too.

I ordered one a few weeks ago because I’m weak.

Here is what I found. I emailed Richard Hutchinson when I acquired an extra original flashboy that didn’t have a cord. He said any high quality cord would work. In my experience this is true. I tried both the cord that came with my other flashboy and the cord that came with my newer flashboy plus and they both worked. Then I tried some cheap ones that came with my sons two power wheels cars and they didn’t work and another random one didn’t. I grabbed a nice one that came with my wife’s Cricut machine and it worked and the one for my gps worked.

Here is a label from a repro Jack Bros. that sold in an eBay lot in July.

I remember seeing one at auction in a lot and it had a nintendo logo where the atlas logo was supposed to be.

I’m more excited for the game. I paid 150 euros to make the game look much more handsome. You are welcome everybody.

I actually asked this in a different thread. You could easily do it I think if you shrunk the middle vb logo that is on the binding part. I don’t have those skills but it seems like a semi simple task.

All available pins are spoken for.

Do the overlays add anything? I’m asking from complete inexperience. They seem like something I would just choose not to use out of inconvenience of switching them.

I paid 185 shipped. I actually set an alarm to wake up at like 1:30 am to bid on it. Came with no overlays and 3 games and when it arrived it was very dirty. It works though and it’s a very good price. I might have to do a flash cart I did buy a multicart that has 102 games arriving soon but there are a lot of homebrew games not on it.

Yeah I would be 100 percent down with ordering a kit. This is quite awesome. I’m sure the number of people here alone that would be interested would make it worthwhile. I’m sure the facebook group Virtual Boy Fans unite would get some more orders also since there are a bunch of people on there that aren’t here. Heck I’d order two of them because I have a problem now. The problem has spread to Vectrex now too. At least I don’t gamble or drink much.

Here is a pic of MOST of my VB collection. Not pictured is the link cable, headphones, 4 Virtual Boys, and a cart programmer on the way.

Yes you saw that right! a Virtual Boy based Super Smash Brothers Fan Game! I am currently working on this project but I need some help. I need the following

Spriteworker

Musician

The project will be done in Gamemaker 8.1 as I don’t own a Virtual Boy to play it on, however if everything goes smoothly we might be able to recreate it in the correct program. Please if you are good with any of the things listed above please leave a reply below telling me which role you would like to fill and a link to your discord so we can chat!

Now onto what we have so far, I currently have a few sprites developed for the main menu and whatnot. Below is a list of all the characters I plan to include in the game. Thank you for your time and I hope we can make this dream a reality
Characters

Mario

Wario

Nester

Teleroboxer

You could add one of the Jack Bros., Chalvo from Bound High, Bomberman, or any of the Mario’s Tennis characters.
