I have a question as well that likely has been asked or covered elsewhere (I think I saw this in another thread but don’t remember it being answered)

If you flash a game and then create a SAVE file on the Flashboy + but then flash another game and then want to go back to the first game will it delete the save file? That would defeat the bonus feature of having the save file option, but I would understand if it did that because or space issues.

Your videos are always hilarious. Wish I had the time and knowledge to produce such great funny videos. Very good to watch. I was helped by your flashboy video 🙂

Had to dig through my email history to figure out when I purchased this one from Richard – looks like sometime in January 2013. I think he’d just recently started 3D-printing them at that point.

Anyway, it looks a bit different from all the others pictures here, so I thought I’d share for those who were interested. 🙂

Wow the decal on this one looks awesome!

I should be receiving mine in the mail this week. very excited!

One question: I downloaded the software and I understand how the flashing works. However, can it work in reverse? For instance, if I flash Wario Land and play the game for a few hours and get a good save file, could I transfer that back to the computer, flash a new game, then sometime in the future flash back Wario Land with my save file?

That is a good question. I wondered the same. Would it erase the prior save file if you flashed a new game then went back to Warioland?

BTW I’m still waiting to hear if I will be able to get one!

SOLD locally, ok to close as I can’t figure out how to!

Oh wow! After that it likely would need to be soldered together to make sure the connections are good. There are people who may do them locally (depending if you have a local game shop or gaming group. Otherwise there are people who do them for $20 if you ship the pieces to them!

I’m looking to buy one of these and Sent a note to Richard about 2 weeks ago. I don’t think he has any ready yet. Pending the price you sell it for shipped in USA to 80013 (Colorado) I likely will buy it from you. I don’t care if it is used or new, once it’s written on once it’s used anyways! Also don’t care if it has a box either.

everytime I hear of this baking method I wonder why not just use a hair dryer to heat up the glue.

The price on repros is too high for me to want to snag any.

Wouldn’t let me edit the title or the post for some reason. But it is $180 shipped in the USA

SOLD and being shipped out tomorrow 🙂

Wow these look awesome! Probably a stupid question but are there cart only options?

I know nothing about the Playstation VR, but is it like the VB but in color?

why would you want to play the VB on your PC? Just play your VB on your VB!

To me I see it as not everyone can afford some of the games or has a Flash Boy to play them. This is also makes it easier for people to use emulation to capture clear footage of games without needing a bunch of equipment.

I kid I kid, and I get it. For me it just takes away the experience of the amazing 3D graphics that the lasers trick us into 🙂 but I get it for the purposes of development and testing on a computer!

Welcome! I think I saw you post on Facebook. Your collection looks familiar 🙂

Thank you thank you! I have seen your posts on the Facebook page as well. You’re probably the only one with a custom pink Virtual Girl! That’s creative!

Ill likely end up selling my second unit but if I don’t I wouldn’t mind a like green one that’s my favorite color 🙂

That would be me with the Virtual Girl lol. If you do wind up painting it, I wanna see pics! I love seeing customs.

You’re looks great how you did it and it makes sense to have a Virtual Girl if there is a Virtual Boy. If this system hadn’t tanked who knows maybe they would have made a pink one for people or a case to swap on! Seems like it would be pretty easy once taken apart, but I better like it as no one will want to buy a jacked up green VB unit!

Awesome then for the $40 you spent you got a steal!

Good catch on the legs being on backwards!

I think this print and shirt looks awesome and I need to get it!

You have 64 carts for Jaguar? Seems wrong to have any other number. 🙂

Wikipedia says there are a total of 67 carts, plus 15 CD games. That might be off, since there’s an AtariAge forum that says there’s a total of 83 games, which is one more than 67+15. Shrug. Either way, that’s a phenomenal CIB Jaguar collection.

And VB collection too!

I think the list on the Atari age forum doesn’t include some of the non commercial releases. I have a couple that weren’t commercial and are homebrew that I had someone make me carts for. Fallen Angels, Tube SE, and Gem Race are three of those I can think of. Also Mad Bodies I don’t think was a commercial release or Hyper Force (but that one came out years later). I am still in search of the elusive CD add on console so I don’t have any CD games just yet 🙁

Either way I love the Jaguar and the Virtual Boy! Both were my consoles of choice as a kid since they were cheap to buy and I couldn’t afford the big ones at the time (N64 and PlayStation) 🙂
