I don’t think you have any cause for concern Ben.
Certainly looks like you helped kickstart one of the greatest games on our beloved virtual boy.
Thanks for sharing your thoughts with us.

Looks like the real thing. Great work to all involved!

Nice work as always Ben. It’s always nice getting some more info about these unreleased games.

When you put it all down like this, you have contributed a hell of a lot over the past 4-5 years. At first I was worried this was going to be a farewell post, but i for one am glad you are sticking about and working on new projects. It’s guys like you that help keep the virtual boy community going strong.

Just got to find the cart now. Nice find.

Some info that I will be using to make my own snes pad to VB.

Virtual boy pad wire colours:
Yellow – data
Blue – +5v
Brown – latch
Orange – clock
Black – ground
Red – battery supply voltage

You could well be right. I have seen a few new old stock on ebay but they are very expensive.

This Rom is well worth trying out. It shows off what could be a excellent game, as well as the power potential of the virtual boy.

That does sound like a fun game, I love arcade style games, simple, fun and addictive! And a screenshot too, Very exciting.
Nice work Greg.

That is a shame, I hope you manage to get one eventually vbsteffel, but as dreammary says they are getting harder to find.
I was lucky when I got mine, I paid £8.50 for it with 3 games. Although it was DOA, but with a little tlc (and soldering) I did get it going.

Very nice find Ben. They look in great shape too.

I’ve signed it for you. I believe we should all have the same opportunity to buy Nintendo products and any other product for that matter.

Yeah a virtuacop game sounds like it could work, it could be in a style like thunders Mario combat.

Also i like the idea of a waverace style game, maybe similar to the game boy version but with 3d depth on things like course markers and the racers.

He lies 😛 it was 16 dollars and some bbq sauce.

I’ll double that offer, that two lots of bbq sauce, who can say no to that? BBQ SAUCE! Lol.

I hope you do get to finish it, I’ve always looked forward to see this.

That’s good to know. Pvb is the only site I check daily, i don’t always sign in, only when I intend to post. But thanks to smart phones I always check in throughout the day.
I’ve always found pvb useful and the people here helpful and friendly.
Here’s to many more years of planet virtual boy!

Great wallpaper. Im using one on my mobile now, Thank you.

Nice work.

So 90s, I love it!

Thanks for that Ben.
Happy new year mate.
