I like the sound of a multi genre competition, bringing the community together, everyone celebrating VB together. Be good to see what type of entry’s would come of it.

As promised here are some pictures. The foam is about a mm thick. I would of liked to use thicker really but this worked well.

Looks good Dogp. I had the same idea the other week. I was in hobby craft and walked past the foam and couldn’t resist. I used black and red, black for the inside and red for the outside. Looks ok but the red is a different shade to the VB. Ill post a picture when I get chance.

Yes that is correct, the sticker is for the standard nintendo cart. Richard now make the flashboy cart with his own 3d printed case. I just like to put the sticker in for the collectors out there.

I have this for my game boy, the game gear fits nice in here too. No good for the virtual boy.

The UK mega drive mk1 psu fits nicely in the jap tap.

The first virtual boy game I played was on an emulator and it just didn’t feel right. 3 weeks later I had hardware on my table top. I haven’t used a VB emu since then.
I’m always going to be a sucker for real hardware but its always good to get some sort of feel for what a system has to offer via emulation.
Anyway gone of topic, I’m for real hardware!
