I’ve been extremely curious about this since late last night, and have probably checked the site about 20 times since then. Is this a April Fools joke like the Virtual Jockey thread from last year?
This is really great to see. But with it being so close to April Fools Day, and the sellers name being mr_e I’m somewhat skeptical. Maybe they can film a video of the game in action or show some pictures. With them being from WA, maybe they worked at Nintendo. Someone should try contacting to see what they have to say.
If theres a fund to collect money for this, I got some money in my Paypal right now. Not to terribly much, but every little bit helps.
I don’t see any problem with a Mario’s Tennis reproduction box as long as your able to differentiate it from the original. It would be a good and afordable alternative.
A reproduction of the English patched version of SD Gundam Demension War sounds like a great idea.
I never thought we’d see the day that the ROM of this was released, and now everyone can finally play it. Thanks for sharing this bigmak. I’m going to put some money in the bank, and try to donate by the end of the week. Thanks again for sharing this long lost game with everyone.

This post in particular was what pushed me to leave:
“There is a world of unreleased “items” for the Virtual Boy. They exist and you will now almost certainly not come to know their name let alone ever play them. Ever.
The VB inner circle is very tight, the people who are in it already know who leaked these and why. Now anything that is held even by 1 person will be held even tighter.”
Believe me… it gives me GREAT joy to know that the Faceball inner circle, which had been in existence for the last 10+ years, has finally been brought down by Eric’s release of the ROM. Seriously… I laugh sinisterly to myself about it at times…

I’m not sure if this is someone that bought one or someone that just stole my photo to scam some people on ebay. I’ll have to look through my orders and find out who this guy is.
I hate to see people do bullshit like this. They buy a limited edition repro for resell, and falsely advertise it as an original prototype. The sad thing is someones probably going to end up paying a few $100 for it, unaware that it’s a reproduction.
After reading this I’m truly sppechless, and excited. This really is a great and generous thing for you to be doing and it really gos to show how great the VB community is.
I remember the days when the thought of Bound High getting dumped seemed impossible, and now a ROM of the long lost Faceball is preserved. We’ve really came a long way.
