Thanks to all of you who provided me photos! I don´t want to bother you with dimensions, I just will play around until it looks like on the photos.
Maybe I will even experiment with vector conversion, so we will see.
😉
Thanks again!

Yes please, any high resolution photo would help. 😉
Thanks a lot for your effort!
Great thanks. I guess it will not be likely that someone put the units on a scanner to scan the stickers, so a nice sharp photo directly 90 degrees over each of the 3 stickers without a light reflection would be perfect if that would be possible to do. 😉
I know that this is a very old thread, still I wanted to update it with my findings even they are neither important nor exciting.
😉
But this here is the only place in the Web I guess where collectors could find some information about that topic.
Today I had some time to check out my 2 mosaic version taps and I just wanted to let you know I have the number 2 in the mold on both of them.

I don´t think that bold letters would change anything. If someone does not know where to get that stuff cheaper that person still might pay more. I see that also a lot with Vectrex stuff and especially flashcarts. I try to educate people in my videos as good as I can, but the question is always if the potential buyers even look in Google before bidding on those items.
Thanks for all your comments and feeback. Usually my viewers seem to “hate” Virtual Boy videos in general, as those videos don´t get many views which is a bit frustrating to put effort into something which nobody wants to watch in the end.
But on the other hand I still want to show what I like on my channel and I like the Virtual Boy a lot, even people seem to look more for stuff like “bleeding eyes videos”.
😉
My beginners guide videos, which I did only for the Vectrex and Virtual Boy so far, I wanted to “keep clean” from any side stories, funny intros, etc. I wanted to focus only on pure facts & information even the videos do have a lower entertainment value then. There are mainly 2 practical reasons for that: The videos would get too long and it is also always hard to “book” Julia, the postman, etc., as this are 100% non-commercial projects and even some short skits often take 1/2 day to a full day to produce them as we work without any camera team here.
From time to time I do also commercial marketing and presentation videos and then everything is very different when it is possible to work with paid actors, etc. but as you know my Youtube channel is just a hobby.
And RunnerPack belive me, nobody wants to see a POV video where I explain the VirtualBoy to Mrs. VectrexRoli. I could not imagine that this would be a positive experience for the community as I guess she thinks I am totally nuts when I put that thing on the table…
I can proof that here:

Even I don´t care that much about NES and SNES stuff I am subscribed to NES Complex a long time now on Youtube mainly because I like the effort he puts into camera work and editing, especially when he shows his old Nintendo Power magazines. It must have been a lot of work to put that episode together even when reusing gameplay footage from Johan.
I find it a bit strange when I hear that someone gets confused when playing Red Alarm, I would understand that when playing it in 2D on an emulator for example then you don´t always see where to go. But in 3D?
Anyway, usually I have the feeling he is very “authentic” expressing his own thoughts, even I don´t agree to everything he said and maybe I am just a Virtual Boy fanboy and he isn´t, which is also fine.

Very good video and thanks a lot for the shoutout!I also really hate the simple “the Virtual Boy gives you headaches” argument people say even when they haven’t even played it.
I always wonder how many of those creators of “worst video game consoles lists”-videos actually came closer than 30km to a real Virtual Boy in their life. 😉

Roli, you did a great job whith this video!
I think It takes a lot of work to make this.Klasse gemacht!
Thanks a lot! I just had enough of all those “The Virtual Boy ruins your eyes” videos on Youtube. 😉
Thanks. Don´t expect anything funny in that video, as in the beginners guides I concentrate more on the information and the video would be too long with a funny intro and ending. 😉
In case the developers would agree that their games should be released on a cartridge like that I personally would not care if that release would look different than the “coders edition”.
On the other hand time and effort was put into this already and as nobody will get “rich” by making such cartridges as it is pure service for the community, we simply will to have accept whatever the makers and programmers of such cartridges might decide to do.
And in my opinion regarding “save the resources for some better cartridges”, hell please go and slaughter some “Virtual League Baseball” cartridges to make such a nice homebrew multicart and I am not just saying this because I am from Europe and don´t understand the rules of that game.
😉
wow 🙂
But what to do with 5 Virtual Boys? That box is for sure valuable for a collector, so you can never throw it away and it takes a lot of space. If I would buy that, my wife would kill me for sure. 🙂
Now that´s cool! So is it a multicart with a menu system?

Yes me too, but I guess I will not get 120 years old to see that gonna happen. 😉
Very nice video, I never built up mine, will do that one day I guess. Never seen that “clip thing” on the side. 😉

Congratulations! I also recently reached 1000 subs, great feeling right?
Thanks, yes we really appreciate that there are some people out there watching our stuff. And as in real life I have sometimes very serious looking people in front of my camera talking about serious stuff, it is nice to shoot something more “goofy” in my spare time. 😉
