Good work on the scans Ben.

I’m fine with repro’s of unreleased games (region or overall), fan edits and originals, however, repro’s of titles already released i’m not a fan of.

Mario’s tennis face is pretty great.

I’d say a little creepy.

Its nice to see Virtual Boy t-shirts being made.

Very nice scans and discovery, anybody know what the two N64 games called “Creator” and Buggie-Boogie” are?

One of, if not the main reason there isn’t really a Homebrew scene for N64 is because the system is really hard to program for. Hackers are getting better at it, but it’ll be a few years before you’re seeing them in spades.

Only time will tell…

I would imagine the vest/hat were probably only worn by employees at Toys ‘R’ Us since they always had a big emphasis on being the biggest video game dealer in the country (noted in their advertising). Plus Nintendo always went the extra mile for TRU since they knew that’s where a good chunk of kids were shopping for toys/games etc.

Also, after thought, what about the possibility of Blockbuster Video? Nintendo was working with Blockbuster in advertising/promoting the system.

All I know is the original GB games are going up in price again almost double on some. Which always makes me laugh at what people are paying and thinking they’re “rare” or “hard to find” which of course they’re not.

The Daze Before Christmas (SMD)
I had a really good time playing this one, too bad its super rare.

-The Guardian Legend (NES)
-Metal Storm (NES)

Pretty cool bonus magazine.

Typical, someone bashing the VB without experiencing it first hand. I think the new VR is more damaging to your health than the VB supposedly does. I tried it for about 30 seconds and my eyes hurt immediately, the VB takes 30 minutes before that happens and its mild.

That’s just badly sun bleached.

I’d sell those extra copies of Space Invaders and SD Gundam if I were you, then you could afford to get Virtual Bowling.

Arkista’s Ring for nes. Please go check out this game. So much fun and very underrated in my opinion.

I’m glad i’m not the only one who loves this game.

Space Station Silicon Valley (N64)
Uniracers (SNES)
Batman: Return of the Joker (NES)
Batman: The Video Game (SMD)

-Maximum Carnage & Separation Anxiety (SNES/SMD)
-Altered Beast (SMD)
-Zoom! (SMD)
-Stimpy’s Invention (SMD)

It all comes down to “don’t judge a book by its cover”. Some of the “bad” games people swear by aren’t that bad or above average, some even legitimately good. I like AVGN, sure its crude humor but it makes me laugh because I know i’ve gotten angry and called a game “a flying f**k heap” or “piece of dog s**t” thrown a controller down on the ground. He takes a bit farther than most would but its comedy show. Take it with a grain of salt. His non-AVGN stuff is pretty cool too.

That’s so cool, hopefully they fix the backwards run/jump that was on the original.
