Wow, nice job and thanks for sharing the art. I?m sure you put a ton of work into those.
Is Tusk still making these boxes and CIBs?

Thanks Kevin! 🙂
I’m not too sure. I think he might of moved on to greener pastures, but who knows. Hehe.
I was just tired of keeping them hidden and wanted to let them be free. xP

People have been asking me to upload this stuff, so here it all is!

Hope y’all enjoy. 🙂

Here are the assets for V-Tetris:

– All inner manual pages
– Logo
– JP Box Art cleaned up

Here are the assets for Innsmouth Mansion:

– All inner manual pages
– Logo
– JP Box Art cleaned up

Here are the assets for Space Invaders:

– All inner manual pages
– Logo
– Box Image

(I ended up taking the box art from the Super Famicom version for this and extending it to fight the size. There are unpainted spots because they were hidden behind the rest of the box)

Here are the assets for Virtual Bowling:

– All inner manual pages
– Logo
– JP Box Art cleaned up

Here are the assets for Virtual Lab:

– All inner manual pages
– Logo
– JP Box Art cleaned up

Here are the assets for Virtual Fishing:

– All inner manual pages
– Logo
– JP Background with fish removed
– Fish extracted from background

(I needed to cut the fish out of the background in order to place him in a better position for the NA style box.)

Here are the base templates I created and used for this project:

– Box (Based on the Baseball box)
– Manual Cover
– Manual Warning
– Manual Warranty
– Sticker Label

I also created new versions of the inserts that can be found here:

https://www.planetvb.com/modules/newbb/viewtopic.php?post_id=40102#forumpost40102

Enjoy!

(If anyone does create anything with these, it would be super cool if you sent me one!)

Thanks!! 🙂

After working on this project for over 3 years, I can finally say… it’s done!!! All 6 Japanese exclusive games now have a NA style variant. 🙂

I’m going to release all the files and images I used here in a week or so, so please wait just a little longer while I compile everything together.

I want to thank Thunderstruck, Benjamin, UncleTusk, and everyone at PVB for helping me through out the years. Y’all are the best!

OK, results are in.

Holy snaps! I can’t believe I won a category!!! 😀
I’m so happy and exited!

Congratz to all the other winners! They all look great!

Thanks Mellott for the contest and expanding to 3 different categories! <3

Here they are. Very nice. Any plans to do all your labels?

Woo! They look awesome on the screen!! 😀

That’s the plan!
Hopefully I’ll get to all 22 games, but I’ll just start with the 6 I made custom labels for. 🙂

Converted my “Innsmouth Mansion” label. 🙂

(Also tiny tiny update to my Virtual Bowling)

Here’s my entry.
I tried to prioritize the logo legibility rather than do an illustration, as the goal is to make it a game label.

Nice!
I’m a huge fan of original custom labels like this and that from Morintari! 🙂

Here’s my entry. 😀
I to went with a more classic label approach.

Took the label I made for the English reprints and converted it for E-Ink.

I’ll probably do every game’s logo, but here’s “Virtual Bowling”!

How can I be sure I am using “true black and whites”? I do not have photoshop or anything =/

You’ll have to check the color’s HEX#

Should be:
Black : #000000
Gray 1: #808080
Gray 2: #c0c0c0
White: #FFFFFF

There are some free image editing softwares that you can download and use. 🙂
Like Gimp!

I made a template for myself and anyone else to use. 🙂

Look what just came in the mail!
Woo!
