Is the site just for the handhelds?
Yes, as of now that’s where I want to keep it. There’s no real specific NGP/NGPC site anymore, and with increased interest lately, I thought it made sense.

It’s really the coders choice if a cart is made and sold off.
At first I thought they could make improvements and continue development of the demos. I found out that there isn’t enough room on the cart except the way it was made/given out to the people that supported the contest.
If all of the people who work is on the cart agree..we can make a limited run..if they don’t want their unfinished work on the cart (totally understandable) we won’t make it.
It was a really nice group of demos thou 🙂

I would be interested, especially for what it represents.
Have we found ways to replicate the connector or are we still using donors?
Since the success of the SNES, they have always tried to be something different. They seem to succeed really with only their actual licensed properties in most cases. I can’t wait for them to return to a single screen. The dual screen is just another gimmick. Bringing back the “Gameboy” title would be epic.
To be honest before I found this site and before I really “read” into everything VB, I would have thought the same thing. I recall not even batting an eye at the VB back in the 90’s, hell I didn’t look at the NGPC or the Turbografx, but now all three of these I would play over my PS3 or Xbox 360.
The VB has some neat and fun games, like the NGPC, I wish it would have kept going at least another year to push out some incredible games.
I saw this as well the other day. The Starfox and Dragon Hopper caught my eye… to bad it doesn’t really mean anything if it is real. They look like faxed video cards or something, nothing to kill over lol.
I was a proud stalker of the discount end caps at Target in the 90’s with R-Zone and Game COM being two things I picked up. I had the star wars handleheld bundle, it was neat, but at the time there were only the bundles available, no other games.

I think this would make a great full game, along the lines of Yoshi’s Safari, maybe mixed with Space Harrier (we’ve got 2 D-Pads, maybe the character could move to dodge stuff, as well as aim).

I’d love to see something like that, similar to the boss from Wario Land that attacks you by jumping back and forth, but you could shoot him while dodging.
