Before you do that, you might want to make sure it’s a display issue rather than a power issue. Those two ribbons you see in your image, on the very left and right. One side plugs in, the other side is glued on. Press on the glued on sides while powered on to see if you observe any difference. If you see the screens correct/come on while you are pressing, it’s a display issue caused by the ribbons coming unglued, if not, it may not be display related.

I also noticed on the backs. Both NFR games have A Silver N. Where as the others have a silver Y and I.

First is Red Alarm. NFR on the Left, with a Silver N. Retail on the Right with a Silver I.

Next is Wario Land. Retail on the Left with a Silver Y. NFR on the Right, again with a an N instead (green).

Heh I didn’t even see that one. I wonder if it’s the same guy. I messaged him letting him know it’s basically worthless as all he has now is a retail cart with a destroyed label, he’s convinced he’ll get at least $50 and said he priced it like that as “good marketing” lol.

Oh I see. My mistake.

Here’s a picture of the final product if you get it to print properly.

I’ve designed one, slightly simplified to reduce unneeded curves. It’s sized for 8.5″x11″ paper. Most printers can handle 65lb cardstock which makes a decent paper for printing these, thought thicker is better. You will need a printer that can handle borderless printing. Also you will need a ruler and an exacto knife for some of the cuts. But they come out pretty good, the sizing is exact (other than the reduced curves), and the fit is perfect.

Another note on printers, many stretch the image slightly, so you might want to print, check the sizing guide for inaccuracy, then resize the image to cancel out whatever your printer messes up.

Don’t use rubbing alcohol(isopropyl) on the visor! It eats the glue and the whole thing comes apart, I learned the hard way. The rest of the virtual boy it works fine, but don’t touch the cloth. Hopefully I caught you in time.

Yea the’re not being made anymore. The user above must have just made the cutoff as it just recently ended. I missed it as well. Waiting on Mellots Multicart now.
